False. I have replaced my entire household with CFL daylight bulbs and I love it.

Next person: Can't stand Little Caesars pizza.

True. It's the worstest by far.

Next poster rarely cooks at home.

True. My husband does most of the cooking. I mostly make salads.

Next poster likes antiques.
True. But only to a point. Some antique furniture is too ornate and overly-detailed for me. I prefer simpler pieces that are truly solid quality... and most antique furniture is truly quality-made. So far as antique collectibles and items of decor, I love them on a piece-by-piece basis, but am fascinated by all of them. We have several from grandparents and great-grandparents.

Our house might even qualify... it was built in the 1880's-90's. The record of it's exact origin date was lost by the local government, but when Dad moved in here in 1965, a neighbor said that his Aunt had lived here in the 1890's. It is awesome, with solid wood interior walls in the original part. They were later sheetrocked over, but you can hang anything anywhere you want without having to look for a stud. smiling smiley When Dad did some remodeling when he first bought it, he found square-head nails. The walls were insulated with some antique newspapers, which were interesting. There were ceramic fuses and the original electrical work! Which, thank God, was updated. The windows are original, even. All except for the 'new' part of the house which was added onto the back post WWII.

The next poster wonders if some antiques are haunted.

The next poster wants a Christmas goodie package from Cettie

Her Serene Majesty, Cettie - Goat Queen of Zoltar, Sublime Empress of Her Caprine Domain
True. Yes, please! smiling smiley

The next poster has sent out Christmas Goodie Packages on their USPS shops.

Practitioner of the Nerdly Arts.
True, now whenever I need to send something out, I look for a PO shop first.

The next poster remembers this: In the day, if a fuse blew out (in your house) and you didn't have a replacement, you just put a penny behind it. My grandmother used to do that all the time. I think we were lucky our house never burned down...lol! (Storm's story made me remember this.)

False, False, False !!!! Already sick of CFL and preseason NFL

The next poster gets coffee in bed every morning.

(in my case it's to keep me out of the Living Room so DH can
watch sports news in peace.) LOL

False... I live alone and hate coffee exceptin' coffee flavored ice cream. If I want some I have to serve myself. lol

Next Poster: Has recently shopped a hotel.

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
FALSE...I bloody can't wait for fall/winter, hate hot weather.

Next: prefers car travel to air travel

Live consciously....
True, you can stop and walk around when you feel like it. And you don't have to go around people when you have to go to the restroom. Or they dont have to go around you if you are in the isle.

The next poster loves hot sauce.
I won't say I love to bake, but I love to eat baked goods!

The next poster is ready for this summer to be over

There are reasons that a body stays in motion

yes, this humidity is suffocating and debilitating.

next poster, favorite country/state to visit?
Country - Italy
State - Hawaii - except Oahu.

The next poster likes Kona coffee and/or macadamia nuts
Iblessyah's question, a few posts back, somehow got overlooked... so I will answer it along with the one directly above.

Their question was... Next Poster: Has recently shopped a hotel.

False. I have yet to shop a hotel... but I wouldn't mind doing so. I would probably prefer to start with one close to home, since I have two elderly pets. I wouldn't want to be too far away overnight just in case. smiling smiley But still, it would be a mini-cation for me. I could check in to the hotel and do some of the evaluations... sneak home and feed the dogs and make sure everything is OK... then sneak back to the hotel and just relax all night. I could get my nephew, who is very responsible and only lives four or five blocks away from me, to stop by my house to let the dogs go potty just before bed.

Now for Rezteach's question.

Again, false! I'm one of the few human beings on the planet who doesn't like coffee. I never have. I even tried to learn to like it when I first started working after community college, so I could 'fit in'. I never could get to like it. Tea is OK, but still doesn't get me whipped. And, I don't much care for nuts of any kind. Almonds and peanuts are OK, but I prefer them in nut-butter form... and finely chopped if they have to be in anything else. I don't like nuts in my cookies or brownies or ice cream or anything!

The next poster likes to have lots of family photos in frames on the wall(s) in their house, and might even have entire wall(s) dedicated to this. smiling smiley

Practitioner of the Nerdly Arts.
True! I have three long skinny hallways and I've turn them Ito walls of photos showing our family from wedding to babies to kids to growing up to now.

The next poster loved iced tea!
TRUE....while out I always drive thru McD for a sweet tea, and make it at home with added orange and lemon slices.

Next Poster: drinks vitamin infused water

Live consciously....
False, but I'm a runner and on my weekend long runs I drop a hydration tablet in my water bottle. No vitamins though, just salty goodness like potassium.

The next poster is also a runner.

There are reasons that a body stays in motion

FALSE...I'm a walker and hike (not in the summer).

NEXT: still has date nights.

Live consciously....
Not crazy about dates, however figs are becoming one of my favorites.

Next poster: has gotten confused more than once while trying to keep up with this threadgrinning smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Next poster:
loves to go "out" for breakfast.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
False...breakfast is about the only meal I eat at home, and I like it that way. When I am out on assignments, I look forward to room service breakfast, but I still consider that staying in. I do love eating lunch and diner out.

Next poster does not need an alarm clock to get up in the morning.
TRUE..I wake up every morning at 7:30 without an alarm.
FALSE: Eat breakfast at home, love lunch out almost daily and dinner happy hour, new favorite.

Next: Goes to Museums

Live consciously....
False. I wouldn't mind, but I just don't have the time, or extra $$ to spend on getting in. Are there even any in my town? I think there's one or two, but actually I'm not even sure. Plus, I can't walk for long distances nor stand for a long time. If I did go, I'd have to ride one of those carts to be able to fully enjoy it. Which, I guess, I *could* do.

The next poster has had their brakes go out while driving.

(I've had this happen twice... once while driving on I-5, several years ago; and just recently while going through a drive-thru... on a shop!!! Yikes.)

Practitioner of the Nerdly Arts.
never thank god or i would hate driving even more than i do.

next poster, likes to ride a bicycle
True, I go riding at least once a week.

The next poster has made pasta from scratch.
