Well maybe. Not sure of my plans yet. Might be Las Vegas. Would rather stay home.

The next poster is very different from the way they were in high school. (Like introvert to extrovert or sporty to fashion guru or rich to poor or serious to funny ... not just the growing up expected)
True. I have overcome my terrors of public speaking and now can lead workshops or chair a meeting and generally ham it up on any stage.

The next poster:
likes hot cereal for breakfast.

False. I like cold cereal for breakfast. However, I do like hot oatmeal with fresh fruit for an afternoon snack.

The next poster is tall, dark and handsome winking smiley
False, I medium height, red hair and female. Sorry to disappoint.

The next poster wishes they were listening to the waves crash on the ocean right now.
So true!

I miss staying on the coast in Cornwall or Wales or Maine! Spent 2 days during a force 8 gale in North Wales, with the sea spray hitting the hotel windows. Heaven!
And I do mean ON the coast.

The next poster:
prefers to look out upon serene water.

True. I love the photography of a still reflection of mountains and a blue sky. I equate big waves with danger. I love the peaceful sound of a trickle and the splash of a frog.

The next poster will NOT be wearing a costume on Halloween.
True. I'm too old for it. We haven't even stayed home to hand out candy for the last few years.
So sorry. I screwed up again and forgot to add a question after my post yesterday. Thanks, Spork, for picking up the ball after I dropped it. I'll do it properly now. I did prefer the Brady Bunch, but it wasn't much of a choice. They were both pretty corny.

The next poster would rather stay at home to watch movies even if it's on a small screen.
False, I still love the big screen-totally different experience. I don't get to the movies often though.

In honor of Octoberfest, the next person thinks Hacker-Pschorr beer is superior to Guinness beer.
False, only because this poster is not a beer drinker and has not had either kind.

The next poster is hooked on reality tv.
False, I do like Project Runway only.

next poster thinks turkey is the only Thanksgiving dinner to cook.

Live consciously....
Absolutely!

The next poster thinks Judge Judy should be president.

(heart)

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
FALSE. Although ebola scares the s*** out of me I wouldn't think twice about getting on a plane.

The next poster is watching the Kansas City Royals and and San Francisco Giants in the World Series.

Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product. Eleanor Roosevelt
True...Giants lost...boohoo

next poster has a new receipt for Thanksgiving

Live consciously....
Aha, I finally figured it out: next poster has a new "recipe" for Thanksgiving!

Nope, I don't like my Thanksgiving tampered with, thank you.

The next poster would like to be start their life over again, knowing what they know now.

(heart)

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
More than you know.
Although not all the way back to infancy. Somewhere around 19 would do.

The next poster has a traditional family recipe/meal for Halloween.
And *no*, I don't mean candy! Heh. smiling smiley

eta: me too ~ don't mess with my Thanksgiving menu. smiling smiley

False! I wouldn't want to be a kid today at all. So much of what was great about my childhood is gone, including the great city where I grew up. (Detroit) I look back on our innocence with fondness. I know now how much really awful stuff there is in the world and think that it would be sad to grow up a cynic with that knowledge. I love that I was always an optimist. However, I do wish I knew more about finances (stock market etc.) and how little it matters what others think.

The next poster believes that there are some real ghosts in some real places. And maybe has had a paranormal experience.
Abso-effing-lutely I do! And I certainly have. smiling smiley

We must've posted too close together, RezTeach. smiling smiley

I'll pose my question again... I can't be the *only* one who does this?

The next poster has a traditional family recipe/meal for Halloween.

True - Love tradition and make the same recipes, I started making homemade cranberry relish, will never buy the canned version again. Oh, the pumpkin pie!

The next person started a new job.
False - no new jobs unless you count filling out MSC applications.

The next person turns out all their lights on Halloween and pretends nobody is home.
true and true....I'm the original humbug with lights off and my staying upstairs all night. don't even buy candy, but then,
the kids go to the large houses above me, so no harm done.

Next poster enjoys lunch out rather than dinner.

Live consciously....
True, both lunch and brunch and I have no idea why. Even though it's been answered, I love Halloween and trick-or-treaters. Several years ago we on the cul-de-sac came up with the clever idea of having a street party so instead of answering the door every few minutes there was a large table with all the candy bowls lined up. Naturally the adults were behind the table next to a roaring fire sipping winesmiling smiley

Next poster: has already started cooking and/or baking for the holidays.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
FALSE.....leaving town for Dec., will be at my daughters for Channakah and we'll cook there. Potato Latkes for all.

Next poster is upset with family, and just not going to their house for the holidays.

Live consciously....
True. I have avoided my family like the plague during the holidays ever since I first left home at 24. (I'm 32 now).
I like them well enough, but don't like them during the holidays. I also don't like the holidays, with the exception of Imbolc, which is in early Febuary.

The next poster knows where the holiday of Imbolc came from. ;-)

False. Have not heard of Imbolc, but will have to go goggle it to learn more smiling smiley

Next poster lives in one of those lucky areas that got snow this past weekend!
False - south Texas and we haven't has a snow in over 25 years. So sad

The next poster sings in the shower.
Yes - I sing in the car, too.

Next poster plans to dine out rather than cooking on Thanksgiving.
