Ha ha. I thought this was going to be a general idea of what the average mystery shopper might look like. Occasionally I will get a picture in my head. Not one shopper I've met looks the way I imagined them. Don't get mad, but every time I see your handle it just makes me think of SpongeBobgrinning smiley

And no to the petite and the short hair although you got the color right. On the shorter side of average height, average weight, long dark hair.

I as well thought you meant the shopper, I can never tell, however, I hope your name doesn't reveal your looks...smiling smiley
I am 5'6, slim, short light streaked brown hair (just changed the color), green eyes.

My name is for some reason a nick name my mother gave me when I was young. If she was alive today, there would be some questions. I love it, Sponge Bob that is a definite belly chuckle.
HA! I do have ideas of what I think some shoppers look like.

Yay! I was going to start a thread about what you envision other shoppers to look like, based on their screen name and maybe influenced by postings and HERE it is.

My visions:

Lisa, in my vision, you are (and will always be) female, 5'6", blonde, hair cut in a bob, medium build, wearing a classic wardrobe and about 45 years old

snorklebutt, you are male, 5'7", light brown straight, medium length hair, sloppy clothes and 35 years old

bgriffin you are male, 5'8", copper colored medium length wavy hair, clean and crisp clothes with lots of classic plaid shirts and 35 years old

Irene, you are female, Asian, black hair, small build, designer clothes and 60 years old

Thank you for asking! heehee

PS
Describe be. (bg, be kind, please)

HA! Well you got the male part right.

The rest of the description is also right...in my mind. That's who you are and that's who you shall be to me.

Years ago, when I worked in corporate America, I had a telephone/email relationship with someone in Headquarters. When I actually met her, she looked nothing like I envisioned. When she left my vision of her reverted back to my original one. Go figure.

I think Clairol has a great product to tone now the brassiness of the copper tones. Try it!

Other than the blonde bob, I certainly can't complain about such a flattering description or that you shaved a few years off for mesmiling smiley And my jeans and STL Cardinal tank top certainly are classic, lol!

Your wrong about me....I am Jewish (not Asian), 5'6, green eyes, short brown streaked hair, small boned and a bit older than 60, but, thanks anyway. I don't have a clue as what anyone looks like. I think folks with normal names (like myself)
are maybe older and conservative, while "handles" are for the young.....

Is this protective camouflage, like the little spotted fawn, hiding in the high grass, in the dappled light from the trees above?

Or, like the moray eel, lurking in the cracks between the rocks, awaiting an unsuspecting victim to pass too close, before he lurches out, devouring his innocent prey?
Ha, that's why they ask your age on MSC applications! They want to make sure you're in the "invisible" category, which I think happens around 55 or so.

A bit off-topic, but one of my friends on facebook has as his profile photo a guy sitting, rather slumped, in a recliner with a stain on it; and the guy is wearing a 'wife-beater' type shirt, also with a stain on it; with hair that is standing on end and sticking out every which way, holding a beer and with a cigarette dangling from his mouth. The scene around him is of a house that needs some picking up & vacuuming.

I've never actually met this guy, so I have no idea if the photo is accurate or if it's even him; but that profile photo makes me laugh. Most of us post the most flattering photo of ourselves for profile photos... either this *is* this guy's most flattering photo, or he has a great sense of humor. smiling smiley

As for bgriffin, I think he's said he's tall somewhere... I also picture him husky but not fat, (kinda like a football player) early to mid 30's, and with short dark hair. The plaid shirt thing works for me. smiling smiley Also, with that name, an offbeat sense of humor.

Lisa, I never would have pictured you with long hair! I also had a shorter 'do in mind. Dark, yes; but not long. Also the classic wardrobe. A little taller, and also about the age of my older sister ~ which is 9 years older than me, so about 50.

Irene, I never would've guessed you had streaked hair! Otherwise, I had an image close to what you described.

I'd have to stop and think about some of the others... but snorklebutt... I also hope you don't look like what your name implies. Ha! smiling smiley

Any guesses for me? hee!

Absolutely, heehee, you are female, 5'8", shoulder length black hair, 50s and full figured. I picture you wearing a tshirt and jeans.

Hey, you're close!

Female, 5'7", hair currently past the shoulder and dark blondish/brown ~ but it has been black in the past (and red, and blonde)! Current color is natural. heh. I just turned 41, and "full figured" is complementary... I'm a little past that right now, but working on getting back to just full figured. smiling smiley

You were just off on the age by about 10 years, and the current hair color! Impressive. smiling smiley

I'm not sure if your description is closer or not.

For the record, I'm early 40's, 6'2" average build with a shaved head and I'm mostly a tshirt and jeans kind of guy. I used to have a football player type build, but I really stepped up my running and hitting the gym a couple of hours a day this year. So I went from 230 down to 190 and have more of an average/athletic build now.

Wow bgriffin! Never would've pictured you with a shaved head for some reason. And I always figured you were younger than me, not (about) the same age. And from many of your posts, I think I have the humor thing right, too. smiling smiley

Oh, and the t-shirt & jeans comment reminded me that as to what stilllearning said about myself, I used to wear that but for the past several years prefer dresses. Usually of the t-shirt or henley or polo variety, though ~ so just casual. Just lots more comfy for me with the way I get so hot because of my chronic pain disability. If I get skinnier, I might go back. smiling smiley

StormCloud,

The first job I had in a grocery store, I worked with a woman named Stormy. That is how I picture you and I won't be able to replace it. She looked a lot like the mother on Home Improvement.
I actually had dark hair and just lightened and gave myself a new color and do...I'm still getting used to it.

Live consciously....
Since no one has ventured a guess, I'll save you the trouble.....

I'm female, 5'7", 35 years old, long brown hair, willowy figure, and, well, think Katie Holmes. We look like sisters!

So, let me guess, you shaved your head to get rid of that copper colored hair. Yes?

Now don't go getting us mixed up. We ARE two separate people, who just happen to look like identical twins. Actually, i think I might be the better looking twin....

HA! No. My hair has never been copper. It was dark brown in high school, unfortunately my senior year it started falling out and what was left turned grey. So shaving it is the better alternative to looking 72 instead of 42.

And looking 72 is bad because............?

......I'm no where near 72?

AustinsMom, you are just that. Austin's mom. Young around 35. Attractive, 5'5", dark hair and highly educated.

bgriffin, did not picture you as a male. Now I do!

stilllearning, you are in your early twenties, dark hair and still look like you are a college student.

stormcloud, I also picture you fairly young with children, one child is young and one around middle school, you live in suburbia in a nice brick house. You have short dark hair and are around 30ish.

Irene_L.A.- Never pictured you jewish. However, did picture you older because of the name. Thought you had short grey hair and look like a very sweet grandma with an average build.

For me I am a female 5'3" if I stretch it. Brown hair shoulder length and highlighted. I am almost 57 and weigh 117lbs. Brown eyes and petite build.
You know what I just thought of?

I bet some MSC's are looking at this thread and matching the descriptions to their shoppers and then know who's who on this forum.

Am I the only one thinking this? hahahaha
