Good News!

It never fails, through the whole of our relationship, that whenever I have bad luck, my husband receives good luck, and vice versa.

In the same week as my car was scratched up by a miffed employee, my husband received final confirmation that he won an essay entry. I arrived home today to find a package delivered, with his airline tickets and all final travel/hotel information.

In one week, he will be traveling to Oregon on an all expenses paid four day trip, to hike around in the woods, pick up trash, tear down fences, and build bird habitats.

He was one of 20 people chosen to participate, out of over 60,000 total essay entries.

Good news much needed after the weekend I had!

Fun. I don't smoke, and for my 21st bday I went out clubbing...for the 1st time. Honest! lol I signed up for some promotion Marlboro was doing. I received gifts in the mail from time to time, and even got to spend a day at the Atlanta Speedway! I rode in a car around the track that went really fast. That was fun. smiling smiley

No, I don't get to go! Just him and 19 other lucky people. The prizes are worth $3750... airline, hotel, gear, and each person gets $2000 for their time.
