Pay with Loving

Has anybody witnessed the new McDonald's "Pay with Loving" campaign? Customers are randomly selected when they place an order. They are given an "assignment" and their food order is no charge after they complete the assignment.

One female customer was asked to line dance with the counter staff for free food. A male customer was asked to use his cell phone to call someone and say "I love you." Free food.

What popped into my head was - OMG, if I were shopping them and got comped would I still get paid?
