WARNING! New twist on old scam. Spread the word!

Who has not heard of the 'Cash cashing scam"? We have, here at the CRG Proshoppers offices, been battling this cancer of the American public for over 4 years. Our files contain nearly 2 million dollars in cases and claims of victims and more savvy would be victims. We have spent countless hours working with bank chains, money wiring services and law enforcement agencies to try and stamp out this dastardly crime. While U.S. law enforcement has been sucessful in working with Canadian authorities and Interpol in busting several active "cells", the scam is like a weed that just keeps sprouting up near and far.

But, now to ratchet up their "winnings", these "con scum" are tagging your friends, business contacts and associates participating with the popular business networking site, LinkedIn.com and sending out "tickler emails" asking for contact information so that they can send you one of their tried and proven cashiers check scam packages! Now, even the more savvy individuals are getting conned, thinking this initial inquiry is coming from their friend / business contact!

Spread the word about this latest version to the cashiers check scam before a friend or business associate of yours becomes the next victim!

Every email I've gotten from LinkedIn in the last two years has been a phishing scam of some sort. I delete them, because I'm really not active at all on LinkedIn anyway.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
