MSPA info

As a provider member of MSPA, I just wanted to make two points.

1) Besides an annual fee, in order to join MSPA, a company must show 2 prior years of tax returns and provide 3 companies your working with as referrals. So those who think nothing is verified are wrong. Those who don't reply to messages through MSPA, because nothing is posted about a company on mystery shopping forms are missing out on opportunities.

2) Recently discovered that because of a MSPA website update, when we were forced to contact members directly instead of being able to go through their bulk email system for those in a certain area. Over 50% of those members we tried to contact were unable to be reached. The contact email kicked back as undeliverable. Meaning MSPA has been receiving these responses and has failed to update this information. It seems they have our money and don't really care about either of us being able to connect. If you are a shopper member, you should review your info at MSPA. There could be opportunities you are missing out on because we could not reach you.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Can someone give me the 'for dummies' version of the post because I just couldn't make sense of it.
I think it would make more sense if FYI identified themselves and the reason for the post.

I think if you reread the original post and realize the OP represents a Mystery Shopping, Merchandising, Market Research company, etc. it will fall into place.

I guess he/she wanted to remain anonymous for fear of some sort of retaliation from the MSPA.

Not judging here or giving on my opinion just trying to make sense of it.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
This part confused me, but now I get that they are a MSC. I wasn't sure what "provider member" of MSPA meant.

MSCs have to pay $600 to over $1000 a year in membership fees. So I think that's what the OP meant.

Funny, MSPA provider members and MSPA hired staff complain that we shoppers "hide behind screen names" when we post here. But,at least one such provider must think that retaliation by MSPA or its members for speaking out could or would occur if their identity was known. Kinda makes you think, doesn't it?

Kinda makes me think that we all should be careful in an open forum about biting the hand that feeds us.

Nope. Tell it like it is; just don't rant.

Right. That's what I meant. It's okay to nibble a little.

Calm discussion is one thing. Snarky, bashing rants full of personal attacks on shoppers or MSCs just makes you look like an arse.
