Internet Trolls

Most of the forum's trolls seem to be repeaters who come back again and again because they have so much fun playing with us. Apparently not all trolls are as benign and uncreative as the ones who come here.

The problem with internet trolls is what you feed them. You don't have to answer your phone. You don't have to respond to emails. You don't have to respond to Facebook posts. You don't have to post on Facebook, or Twitter or any other social media site. You don't have to respond on public forums to trolls. Why are people giving computers/trollers so much power?

If someone calls me I don't have to answer my phone, I don't have to open my door or open an email letter. Take back the power of your life.

They have scammers now pretending to be 15 years old, trying to get older men to send nude photos of themselves or receiving nude photos from an underage girl. The problem is usually it's NOT a 15 year old girl but a scammer. An adult male. That scammer now has his proof that you sent or accepted the pictures. He wants you to send money to him. He is going to blackmail you. One man killed himself over this. He believed what was happening and no convincing could change his mind otherwise. He jumped off a 12 story building. In his case, the scammer wanted him to pay in $$$$ so they wouldn't ruin his life. He sent money. They wanted more. They knew he was a professor at a college. How did they know? He TOLD them and much more personal information about himself.

The solution is simple: Take back your life, stop sending videos of yourself doing things you would never want anyone to see. Stop posting things you would not want your employer to see The internet has become a scammers playground with Romance Scams, Shipping Scams, Blackmail Scams. Half the people who get involved in this crap give the scammer/troller the power to continue. Other than reading work emails, you don't need to read any emails you don't want to.

Technology is a wonderful thing (computers) but it has given life to awful people who want to remove you from your money, destroy your image, create havoc in your life.. Take a break from Facebook. I rarely go on there but I see people posting personal intimate details about themselves, their life history is on there. Stop and think what you are doing before you post anything in a public forum or social media site.

Or they are the cops or one of those investigative news reporters trying to catch pedophiles.
