New to Mystery Shopping and wondering about the test?

There are several questions and most are pretty staight forward but there are a few I am having trouble with and I was wondering if I could get some help. I will list them below: 1. A regular assignment a shopper receives from an employer will include all of the points below EXCEPT:
2. If you have a question about your shopping assignment, you should:
3. Mystery shoppers in more rural areas often have an easier time getting shopping assignments.
4. Video shopping pays a fee that is many times as much as the fee paid for traditional shops, and there are usually no forms or reports to complete.
5. I am an independent contractor so mystery shopping companies WILL send me a W-2 form at the end of the year.
6. What kinds of businesses use mystery shoppers?
7. Disciplined and highly organized full-time shoppers can earn over $40,000 per year.
8. What is the typical pay like for a mystery shopping assignment?
Fees depend on the time required, difficulty, and experience needed.
9. An Apartment or New Home assignment can pay you $20-$50 plus the first month’s rent or mortgage payment.
10. It is ethical to work for more than one mystery shopping employer because:
Most companies understand that you will work for other companies.
11. What type of assignments would allow you to take a spouse, friend or child?
12. I am an independent contractor so mystery shopping companies will NOT send me a 1099
13. Shoppers that are interested in tapping into video mystery shopping have the option of:
14.Video mystery shopping is in high demand and represents the fastest growing segment of the mystery shopping industry.
*** So I guess 15 questions out of 50+ wasn't too bad I'm just very curious & I really want to do this right also I only put a 25 mile radius for the moment, but that's only because I'm not working at the moment not much opportunity in this small town. But I can broaden that once I start making some money and get new tires and my rear main seal fixed. Lol, when it rains it pours. All help is greatly appreciated it. Hubby and I lost our jobs at the same time, he found one but at a 5 dollar pay cut, so 10 bucks an hour just isn't cutting it and he's working 10+ hours a day, it's killing him. I have to do something & this seems to be the best site I've found. Do I have to buy something at every place I go to? Thank you again & all advice & answers are appreciated. So lost!!! ~Angela from Texas

Mod note: Most of the answers as well as the MSCs name have been removed from your post. This was done for a couple of reasons:
- it is unethical to ask someone else to help you pass a test and mystery shopping is all about being ethical and trustworthy
- it is against Forum rules and usually against the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) that most mystery shopping companies make you sign to disclose any proprietary information of theirs. A copy of their qualification test would be considered proprietary information.
If you read the information provided in the New Mystery Shoppers section of this Forum you will probably find the answers to all your questions.
Good luck on your new endeavor and welcome to the Mystery Shop Forum

Angela, welcome to the forum. If you have gotten far enough to see the company's test, then you have undoubtably signed the company's Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA). The ICA contains a confidentiality clause which prohibits you from reveal the company's clients or proprietary informatin (like test questins) to anyone.

You need to edit your post and remove the company's proprietary information or a moderator will do it for you.

The reason the company asks its new shoppers to take a test is to see how successful you will be when you mystery shop for them. My advice would be to go back and re-read the information and take the test fairly. If you are not able to pass the test, it is a poor indicator of success.
Isn't Shadow Shopper one of those sites that makes you pay a fee? There is a list of companies on this website that do not charge a fee.
There is a list of mystery shopping companies on this Forum, all of whom do not charge you a fee to get jobs. It is at the bottom of the page or the link is:

- Sign up for as many as you can. An idea might be to decide to sign up for 2-10 new companies a day.
- Read the New Mystery Shoppers section of this Forum to get a lot of helpful information
None of this will cost you a penny.
