Feedback: SNAP Reviewer (Food Stamp Program)

Is anyone currently doing this job, or have you done it in the past? Please pm me any details about the position that you can.

I am trying to decide whether to accept this job that I was offered or not. It does pay over $20 an hour and they pay for travel time, but do they only allot you so many hours per store visit and thats it? It seems like a crap ton of work, which is fine if they are willing to pay for it. But if it actually takes 5 hours from start to finish..travel, store visit, pic and survey upload, and they are only going to allow and pay for 3 hours, then that won't work.

Plus the job requires workers comp. Any ideas on the cost of that?

It seems like this will take a lot longer for the store visit than the 30-40 minutes that they are saying it will take.

I did this job years ago for a company called Greet America. Back then it involved taking photos with a 35mm camera. It took about an hour per store, sometimes more. We didn't have to have workers comp. They sent us the film and provided the camera. They just had us drop the film off at FedEx with out store sketch, survey, and notes. When they decided to go digital they wanted us to buy our own cameras and weren't willing to pay additional for time spent uploading photos, so I quit. Looks like they lost the contract.
Allstate for workers comp, about $11.00 a month. Unless you have a history with wc, then could be $$$$
Thank you both for the feedback. I decided against this job. I just don't feel like it's the right fit for me.

The worker's comp insurance isn't as much as I thought it would be. Thanks for letting me know.
