Has MS led you to any other interesting careers, hobbies, etc

It has me. I did something tonight that I have wanted to do for years and mystery shopping gave me the nerve to pursue it. I joined an acting group. I'm really excited. The irony is that I am 100% introvert. But, I've got the three things that seem to make actors good. I'm screwed up, insecure, and neurotic.

The forum made me do something I've never done, so in a round about way, yes....I joined a Foodie group online in my town. I am learning so much about small restaurant's in my town that I had no idea exsisted.
We exchange receipts, go out to eat once a month, and generally have meet the nicest people. Really enjoying it. We're trying a Thai restaurant which I haven't eaten at.....yea, there's more out there than the chains.

LA has thousands of neat little places to eat. I sat on Youtube and watched an entire series that the Try Guys did in LA. It sucks you in!

The city has a ton of small interesting restaurants, Santa Monica area. I live in the subs and don't travel that far..if I'm over there, I'll explore, but I'm usually doing one for a job. I'm happy to find great inexpensive places in my town.

Stop it you two!!! I miss California something fierce, especially during the cold winter months. I miss so many of the restaurants there. I'm an original Valley Girl!

My friends are in the Valley, I go weekly......I lived in Sherman oaks then Calabasas where my daughter went to school (Calabasas high) before it became Kardashianland......it's been raining like mad, the drought is over.
Restaurants yes, fun to explore them.

I was laid off from my contracting job in February. I started MSing full time. During this time, I decided to change careers, and applied at one of the local banks that I shopped. I got the job, and started in September.

They ask if you have any other sources of income. I disclosed that I was a mystery shopper. Because I do bank shops, they said it was a conflict of interest and suspended me until the situation could be discussed with legal. I decided not to return.

Wow, this was terrible Honey. I'm sorry to hear that! You could just stop doing banks that would have been an easy fix! Some people...smh

My mom is in a large foodie group in our city so soon after she has her back surgery I plan to start taking her on all the restaurant shops that I am being offered. She would love these places! I might even convince her to become a shopper herself!

I started extreme couponing after getting into mystery shopping. I was getting so many things reimbursed for me that I wanted other ways to get things for cheap or free...
How do you prove that you don't do a certain sector of mystery shopping? You can't.

I would have had to stop shopping altogether. I nade more money shopping full time than I did at the bank. That's what I thought about during my suspension and why I didn't return.
