Sunday, night.. an OLD fav from my first years alone when my mom died.. pan fried hamburger patties, with sauteed onions and gravy.. over mashers for hubby, and over rice for son.
Cooking dinner for a few nights in my crock pot, house smells so good.....

Box/can black beans, 2 carrots, large skinned chicken breast, i leave some of the skin on for more flavor.
1 can low sodium chicken broth and 1 small can tomato sauce, pepper (i don't use salt, doesn't need it.).
Simmer 6 hours...just tried sauce, excellent... shred chicken and I'll put it in a large trader Joe's tortilla, or a nice bow, I cut up and bake a tortilla for chips and sprinkle on top.....yummmm....

I've been running around all day and am pretty much done in. Tonight is Hamburger Helper, choice is 'stroganoff' or 'cheeseburger'. Probably go 'cheeseburger'. Wedge salad, coffee and a grocery store apple turnover for dessert. Talk about L * A * Z * Y!!!
I had mystery meat... The meal was appetizing and tasty. The produce was fresh. The bun was lightly toasted and golden brown. The sandwich was neatly packaged. The French fries were hot and salty. The beverage was properly mixed and... Oh, wait. You don't care about that...

Soon, very soon, meaning this very Thursday, I will be at home long enough to cook an actual meal. What a concept! You might care that I am inspired by the variety of foods listed in this thread and will prepare some of those dishes when I have time.

Tonight my long awaited dinner at (the one and only) Larsen's Steak House. Sitting at the bar, ordering my heart out, along with a new friend. This is the one fine dining I do (these days), as the report is duable and
the owner is amazing...could go on and on, but, the best steak in town, mashed potato's, salad and a healthy reimbursement + fee. OH, how could I forget the wine.....

High end hotel shop tonight with restaurant dinner that does not require a report of any sort (for the dinner.) The budget for reimbursement is more than adequate for the location. I'm happy.
