I've got grocery shops today, so dinner will be whatever I can't wedge into the freezer :-)
Home today cooking and cleaning, so, tonight will be:
baked chicken, on sale for .67pd. (beer based and Balsamic Vinager), makes rich thick sauce, carrots, roasted potato, veggies. enough for tomorrow and lunch sandwichs.

Live consciously....
Steak Ka-Bobs (my youngest announced they are best I've ever done, so I'm on a roll tonight!), Saffron Rice, Steam Carrots with Honey Butter, Corn on the Cob, and Steamed Cauliflower with Parmesan Cheese. No need for dessert, we are all stuffed!

I love your selection. Apparently you know where to find fresh food that is cooked properly, The emphasis on the quality of the food rather than the time to make it. Anyone can pull a greasy precooked burger out of a drawer and serve it in less than 2 minutes.

Those shops seem to have disappeared, but I would actually spend my own money to go back there.
No drawers for greasy precooked! They holler out my patty quantity and the grill guy stoops, scoops out a handful of nicely formed 80/20 patties to lay lovingly on the grill before putting the rest back in the refrigerated drawer and trotting off to change his gloves.
Tonight is basic, but tasty...steak marinated in italian dressing and mashed potatoes.

Last night was a new recipe for a ham & broccoli ring made with crescent roll dough.

Am doing a hotel shop where the hotel restaurant is actually good enough to lure a lot of non-guest trade. Gonna put my feet up, pour some of my own vino and order a gorgeous Italian meal from room service. All the report wants about it is the basics: timing, smiles, etc, and how did I like the food.

My refrigerator looks like the basket from "Chopped" on Food Network. Many interesting items, none of which would appear to go together. But I'll start with some leftover meatloaf and see where we go from there. Luckily I don't need to use 'a little or a lot' of all ingredients!
Potato latkes (pancakes) with sour creme and applesauce, and big salad.

Asian Noodle Salad, recipe compliments of The Pioneer Woman Cooks. We can't get enough of it around here!
Leftovers from hotel room service shop: veal with mushrooms, fettuccini alfredo. Will add a green veg and red wine. mmmmm

Edited to add: Lost power for several hours due to storms. Will try this again on Friday, lol.

I've got some wonderful, fragrant basil plants growing out back - and will make and freeze pesto.

Tonight, I made chef's salad. Lots of leftover fresh veggies, ham and turkey. My favorite bites included ridiculously expensive blue cheese that melted in my mouth way too fast. Chased with a glass of Cab.
Fudrucker's! I was very "bad" - - a big burger and fries that I dipped into cheese sauce. I ate every one! And, although I rarely drink soda, I did tonight. The Fud has the new soda machine that lets you choose your beverage and then add fruit juices ..... and I find Coke with Raspberry to die for!
I made up some chicken cordon bleu with sides of au gratin potatoes and fresh green beans with mushrooms.
I'd rather have what Flash is having, but I'm exited to be having Cheesecake Factory. mmmmmmmm
Tonight, (riceless) leftovers from a Chipotle bowl plus some leftover brown rice pilaf with garlic. Ice cold amber beer.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday night dinner. My significant other works late on Tuesday so won't be home for dinner. Thus it is my 'lamb' night because he doesn't like lamb. I have a lovely little 'frenched' rack of lamb ribs in the freezer that I found absurdly marked down on a shop to about the price of chicken because it had 2 days left on the 'freeze by or use by' date. I'm thinking roasted lamb with garlic and rosemary roasted new potatoes and a salad.
This thread is hung up. Keeps showing new postings. Maybe this will jog it loose. Having lasagna.

You would be most welcome, but don't bring friends. There are 8 nice ribs to the rack and I plan on scarfing 4 of them, so that leaves 4 for you :-)
Making my favorite Rachel Ray receipt of "White Chili", salad and french bread.

House smells yummy, hope I don't eat the whole pot.
