What are you having for dinner?

^ So where is mine? lol...

I am having homemade chicken and vegetable ( fresh carrot, garlic, scallion, tomato, celery, bay leaf) soup over angel hair pasta with parmesan/moz. cheeses. Hmmmmmmm good. It was cold and windy (10 - 15) today so I made soup.

I somehow did not get enough leftover turkey and fixin's last month. So I will roast a couple of turkey thighs (I prefer the dark meat), make some "instant" dressing, gravy from drippings and turkey broth, acorn squash, and a bit of cranberry jelly (traditional round kind, lol).

Surprised to get many requests for this, it is simple.
kale, remove leaves from the stems, 2 potato's, can of chicken broth and water boil everything covered until potatoes are soft (40 minutes), add to blender and should be fairly thick brothish, add a couple spoons of butter, dab of sour creme and a splash of olive oil, don't forget the french bread. Kale one of the healthest foods out there, says Dr. Oz.

You must own stock in Hidden Valley. It always looks like your having ranch dressing as an entree or side, LOL!

I get my ranch dressing over on Buffalo Rd. I found it a lot cheaper than the name brand.

Tonight is homemade turkey vegetable soup, stuffed mushrooms, crusty rolls and a blackberry pie.

cettie, I would kill for a blackberry pie.....with ice cream on it! ....unless it is fresh blackberries in a shell with whipped cream! That's heaven, too......
Tonight is a bonus barbecue restaurant shop. The bonus isn't enough to cover taking the whole gang along, but it will help!
I had bbq tonight too and loved it, bec. my friend took me on the shop and is at home doing the report this time.
Don't you feel even a little bit bad for them? LOL!
