Service Intelligence delayed payment

I did a lot of shops last month for Service Intelligence. I understand they just merged with another company. However, I still need my overdue payment. I was sent an email saying they would not be made on September 30 as promised. They will not respond to email requests for an exact date. Does anyone have more information as to when that direct deposit will be made?

I'm not surprised that they did not respond. I am assuming you didn't use their VOX system as apparently they no longer monitor it. Their comment in the email was that direct deposit would be "early next week", so I'm assuming today or tomorrow. It is a first, I believe, in my years of working for them that a payment has been delayed. Not happy but not worried about it yet.
"Early" in the week generally covers Monday or Tuesday and we are at mid afternoon Tuesday with no money into my account. If I am late on a shop it can result in my not being paid. If a company is late they seem to feel it is fine just to send a note telling you they are not paying. Bummer! Some of the time the delay would not matter but this time it does. The lack of an exact date is inexcusable.
I must confess that I am not in the least perturbed. I performed a lot of shops for them in August as well. They let me know IN ADVANCE that payment would be delayed and as I mentioned, I believe this is the first time in my years working with them that there has been a delay. This does not constitute a habit, just as a shopper shopping the wrong location once does not constitute a habit. I have seen a whole lot more fluctuation in when other companies pay without even the courtesy of advance notice. While the delay may cause issues from some folks who are living close to the edge, no company or payment should ever be counted on to hit the mark 100% of the time just as no shopper should be.
How very nice for you. I really do expect to do my work on time and to be paid on time. I am not complaining about absorbing losses if I make an error. I do believe businesses should function in such a manner as to make payments when they are due. I was not surprised at your posting. Really have come to expect such comments from you.
Depending on the bank that's accepting the direct deposit, computer updates could occur at midnight, posting payments to accounts then. Of course, if midnight tonight comes and goes, then deposits weren't made early in the week.
I have found service intelligence one of the few companies who doesn't mind late submissions. I completely forgot about a project once and saw that they kept pushing back the due date each day that I didn't turn it in. I talked to one of their schedulers and he said that they didn't care as long as it got done by their deadline. He said if it got too close, they'd call and give you 24 hours before cancelling your shop. I did a major assignment for them on a friday, e-mailed them from my phone when I had a malware that I could not remove on my computer, and they didn't say anything when I couldn't turn it in until tuesday.
Sounds like they will really work with a shopper. This is the first time I have shopped with this company and I did a lot of shops. I am on a vacation and wanted access to more funds. It was a real bummer when the money did not come when planned as I knew they have a record of paying on time. Hope they get the kinks worked out soon.
I don't' like that they merged with someone else. It seemed to have gone a lot smoother when they were experience exchange alone. Plus, you had a better chance of the jobs getting bonuses. I don't like not being paid on time. I received another email saying the end of this week. So not sure what that means, but hopefully it will be soon.
I just got an email about delayed payment...I haven't worked for them in ages, so, surprised you didn't get an update since your owed money. Delayed and receiving an email tells me you will be paid, just later than sooner. I do think it is a bump in the road with another owner.

I received an update this morning. Hope they come through this time. I have been pleased to hear that many have good experiences with them, I just had bad timing with my first contracts with the company.
I haven't been paid either, and I wonder if it is because of their joint venture with the "In Touch" company... I've never had much of a problem before so I've never had to track down payment with them. I'm finding it near impossible to get a hold of someone who will help. Emails are ignored and phone calls get transferred to voice mail which doesn't get returned.
I received direct deposit 10/6 for August work. I only work through the ExperienceExchange website.
Pay issue was resolved. The automatic deposit came from a source other than the usual one and was not late. My mistake.
In CA, many lost jobs since the move and merge, and nothing available with SI or InTouch..quite disturbing, as this was one of my favorites...haven't seen a job all year, except the colleges, which have an age requirement.

Totally agree with you and so well put. I have heard from many people annoyed with her pro/co anti shopper holier then though attitude. Let me know.
Yes if our shops are late no-pay. They can apparently pay whenever they get around to it without any sanctions Once again we are held hostage
Has anyone received payment from Service Intelligence (due 10/31)? I am fairly new to this company. I see where we can view an invoice. We don't have to submit anything to them regarding the invoice, do we? I ask because a few years back I did several auto supply shops for Maritz and never got paid because they said in order to be paid I had to submit an invoice. I cannot get through by phone and SI has never returned emails I've sent with other questions previously.

Thanks for any input!!!
My pay was deposited into my Paypal account yesterday.

Depending on which site you did shops, your pay will either be deposited into your bank account (old site) or into Paypal (new site).
