I just spent two hours+ looking for my original post regarding this company. So I am back. Six months ago I registered with this company. But b/c of the blouhaha that was being discussed on this forum about this company, I got a headache.

I postponed myself from working for this company b/c I make my own decisions and opinions. Due to a recent post topic, i was eager to do a XYZ shop. Over the course of the last six months, I have tried to read everything this forum had to say about this MSC, especially anything readable in the last ninety days or shorter.

Well the company seems to be on the up and up b/c it seems like most disgruntled posters were voicing a negatively on their (the posters) reports habits.

And DAVE seems to try help the poster if they wanted it. SO......

I did n't see anything in any of the SENTRY website about PAY. Most MSC's say in their application or website when they pay----whether it's by PayPal, Direct deposit, by check or even giftcard. SENTRY does not. How does it pay???????? and when???????????? How far do I have to be indebted to them b4 we discuss pay.

Those who like Sentry would know b/c those who are gruntled are still unhappy. :-(

My other concern is one disgruntled poster said she did a shop for SENTRY. They went to report it and found out she needed to take a test. b4 she could submit her shop report and scan a receipt that showed she took the test. What's up with that?

Tests, I don't mind until they question my sense or sanity. Are these tests necessary and do they concern pay or what. I check their website. I don't see anything about tests, pay, or sanity.

I had to take a test for everything I want to do and passed. They still have no jobs in my area, but when they do, I'm ready. I don't recall anything about scanning, as the test's are give on their website, and you know if you pass or fail immediately. Many MSC's require tests (Cori) for example.

I have taken 3 different tests for this company and passed all 3. These tests are not that hard if you read the guidelines before you take the test. As far as payment is they pay by check and it is usually 60= days before you get your check, however the checks are good. I have e-mailed Dave directly and he does respond to the emails that he gets. I really like doing the shops this company has and will continue to do so. Hope this helps. Good luck and Good Shopping.

Payment timing depends on the assignment. Typically checks are processed 30 - 60 days after the acceptance of the assignment. I believe that this information is included in our orientation module but I'll have to check.

We do us online learning modules to prepare shoppers for their assignments. The entire process is handled online and we do not require shoppers to scan and email anything to show that they have passed a quiz. We do require that receipts, guest checks and other required documentation is scanned or photographed and attached to a shop.

I have done 11 shops with this company and have had almost 100% positive experiences. They pay as outlined in Dave's posting. I had one error where they paid my fee and did not pay a pretty sizable reimbursement. I used their online system to report the problem and had my missing reimbursement within 2 weeks. I am very pleased with this company and look forward to future assignments.

On the website today the have made a change as to when you report is due. Now instead of 12 hours we will get 24 hours to get the report in. It says this came about due to the survey that some of us answered. I believe that that survey will bring about changes that are needed.

Wow, 60 days is too long. But at least there's a time frame.
