NWLPC

I have shopped for this company for years and have always gotten good results until now. I did a shop for them and apparently, they didn't receive it. This was the first time I did not write down the confirmation number after I submitted the shop. Anyway, I received one email saying they did not receive it and it was late. I went to log on to my account to see if I could find it and couldn't. I contacted them and was told my account had been suspended. I was told they had sent me several emails saying the shop was late. I only received one of their so called many emails. Today I got an email saying they had found the shop but apparently I did not wait for the confirmation number when I logged off so the report did not go through. So how did they find the shop if it did not go through? Has anyone else had a problem with this company?

I've never had a problem with NWLPC. If I did, I'd contact Doug. Did you speak with him? He reads here and sometimes posts as drector...you might PM him. He is very responsive.
I did speak with Doug. He is the one who told me my account was suspended. He also said they found that the report did not go through. They found the report but it didn't go through. Yea doesn't sound right to me. How do you find something that didn't go through? I have never had a problem until this. It's a bit upsetting. I have shopped with them for years.
My state agency does a daily backup of all computer server activity and our computer folks have been able to find unfinished reports and partial e-mails that were saved at some point but never submitted so it's possible that this was what happened with your report. If the report itself was saved but was not submitted, they should have been able to go back and isolate the unsubmitted report so maybe that is what happened. I don't quite know how the Prophet system works - only that after submitting I always get a confirmation # and write it down, although I've never needed to provide the number. Sorry this happened to you. Maybe Doug would reinstate you since you have worked for them for years with only this one mistake.
There is no question the shopper completed the shop BUT she merely saved some of her work and did not complete the entire form. The shop goes into overdue and this is how we found the uncompleted shop. We do not just reassign shops. We do give shoppers every chance if the shop goes overdue or if the shop is completed incorrectly, This shopper received an overdue notice that was automatically sent then when there was no response I personally sent two emails asking her to complete the shop and submit it within a certain amount of time. It came to a point where the shop was too late to submit to the client.

Two sides to every story.
Welcome to the forum. Best advice I can give you is to sign up with as many companies as you can. NWLPC is a good one.
I haven't worked for them in ages, but do get their newsletter, and am waiting
for jobs in my area as I want to continue. Message to those that are badmouthing them.....they have a Better Business rating of AAA+, I for one
hate to see a good company get bashed just because you don't like the personality of the owner, get over yourself!

Live consciously....
