BestMark Casino/Hotel Shops

Has anyone done the BestMark Casino shops? I am curious about the "8 interactions", such as what they involve, how much interaction is needed, the detail of the report etc? Will I enjoy my overnight stay there, or will I be overwhelmed with work? I do my fair share of hotel shops, so I know its not a vacation, but am curious about these specific shops

I do casino shops for them all the time. They are pretty simple. Review the sample surveys and you will see what they are looking for in the comments you have to write. I can generally get a report done in a couple of hours if there are no interruptions. The first time or two it will probably take you a bit longer to do the report. If you're cell phone has note taking capability, just use that feature to make your notes. That way it looks like you're just texting. As to the overnight stay, you will enjoy that. Just review the paperwork beforehand and you will be fine.

Really good tip. I use my cellphone for the notes as well. The shops are fun to do and the report is not that difficult but you have to read the guidelines closely to get everything right. Enjoy!
No, do they shop those? On several road trips I've routed myself for an overnight in Tunica for the simple reason the rooms are gorgeous and the rates are usually dirt cheap. I'm talking $25 for a room which could easily go for $150 plus anywhere else. Unfortunately, that one is never shopped. I think Bestmark's casino shops and reports are a PITA, but not unbearable.

I'll have to try it out at least once. I love the nickel slots! I've tried the quarters but it isn't as much fun for me as the nickels!
Oh, I could really love the 2 cent slots .... I'm in it for the excitement and the win .... the amount of the win doesn't matter. When I got teased about being cheap I tried to graduate from nickel slots to quarter slots but it stopped being fun .... so I'm back to nickel. I would love 2 cent....
I prefer the hotel/casino stays, since you are done most of the interactions once you check in, and do the rest the following morning. It takes me about 2 hours to write the report. I am slow and take a lot of breaks though!
A downside to Bestmark casinos was any slots interactions had to be conducted at quarters or higher, no penny slotssad smiley

Ugh, I hate the slot interactions. They changed it to where you couldn't approach the attendants, and you had to push the button. They are so angry when they get there and your question is so silly.
My suggestion would be to sign up with as many companies as possible and you will probably find some casinos. This thread is all about Bestmark, so you could start there. I really don't know if their client is in those areas, but they are all over the country.

The only casino shops are 90 to 100 miles away and my wife is always asking me to get those. She love the slots and i can't make enough to cover the gas let alone all those pennies lost.
I have been keeping my eye out for casino/hotel shops in Pa. and Atlantic City...so far I haven't come across any. Does anyone know how often these places are shopped?
It depends on the casino.

A large casino company that encompasses several AC casinos is shopped monthly.

If it makes you feel better, I'm with you. When I've gone, I take $20 and make it last. I'm too cheap to spend more. I don't mind losing $20 but I'm not losing $100 or more. For that, I can throw my money out some other window, have something to show, and enjoy it more.

We have casinos on the American and Canadian side here (NY) as well as on the rez but I've never seen casino shops in my area. Or I don't pay attention to them when they come in. Not sure which.
I'm so glad I read this... I had no idea the casinos in NJ were shopped. We are at the shore every summer... definitely going to try to pick up one or two of these!
I'm in LA and the competition is fierce for the casino shops here. I've tried to get on the same shop now for several months, but I can never get the scheduler to book me on it. The sad part about this, is that I'm REGULARLY at the casino in question. And it's just casino, no hotel.

I guess I need to check the MS shops.
