completed 4 jobs so far... 2 big box stores, 1 pharmacy... much better pay than the purple people eater... very easy too... a bit time consuming but not hard...

havent got paid yet... my first check is scheduled to be cut 1/20/2011

I'm with Castforce but they have not had anything I could do yet, either too far to drive.. or my day was packed.

I am going to do a turnaround in 2012 and make some Merch companies my higher priority and work around the Shopping....I LOVE the shopping but cannot survive on it by itself although I do it full time...

I did a few jobs for them in the past. I had no problems other than I didn't particularly like the job, so I didn't do any more. They were easy to work for and paid as agreed.

So what kind of jobs does this company have? Are they mainly merchandising or do they mystery shop too?

its merchandising just like the purple portal... no msing

i restocked gift cards in two different pharmacies ($12), checked on a holiday chocolate display in a large department store ($14), and pulled some mislabeled products at a home improvement store ($17)...

the first three i completed in less than 30 min (not including driving)... the last one i would have been there probably over an hour if the associates hadnt been there to help me...

entering the forms are really easy... dont take more than 5 min...

glad to hear they pay as they say...

yeah i applied for 20 shops before they gave me anything... did the drug store and department and then was called in for a flake at the home improvement...

I, like you am looking into the Merc companies and supplement them with mystery shops.
I like mystery shopping but cannot make it on that alone and besides that, my creditors DO NOT have a sense of humor!LOL

I have worked for Cast, now Castforce for about 4 years. Took a long time to get my first job. Now I get almost more than I can handle. My complaints are the need to get a Managers signature all the tiime. When doing *retail store* just try and get a Manager, that is almost a impossiblity. My second complaint is their Pay period. They only pay the friday after the 15th of the month. Oh yes pictures, they want pictures of everything. I have asked many times why and all I ever get is the company wants them. Well if that is true why is it when I do *retail store* for another co. no pictures, when I do any other store for another co. no pictures.

As far as submitting pictures with reports goes, as it was explained to me by an employee of one of the MSCs, it serves as a backup in case there is a dispute over what went down during a shopper's visit. Some clients are notorious for putting up a huge fuss if they get a no-so-great score. They then dispute it with the MSC. It wastes a lot of the MSCs time - and sanity - playing go-between with the shopper and client in trying to verify what went down.

Not saying I like this or even condone this. Just sharing what I found out.
