star scheduling

I have sent 4 e-mails re MCP hair salon shop re unable to up load receipt. No response. This is not the first time. I am having problems w/ independent schedulers. Bad communication. I did my part and e-mailed the receipt to the scheduler. I am not sure that indie scheduler thing is working. All I want to do is complete my shop and get the report done in a reasonable amount of time.

MCP. I got a message last night from someone at MCP apologizing, saying that the star scheduler was not supposed to be on this account and the e-mails should have gone to her. So it is resolved
However, it does seem to me that the scheduling thing in general is getting wacky. Often you do not know who to contact w/issues. Why do you think this is going on?
CYNB--->Is this company still wacky? What R the shops like? How is the paperwork? I see this is a scheduling company but are their clients any good?
MCP is a mystery shopping company, not a scheduling company. Their written shops and pay are okay, not always great, reports aren't onerous and they always pay on time. Clients in my neck of the woods are limited. It looks like they may have some better ones in other parts of the country. I much prefer their video shops.

I am not a lover of Star Scheduling....nothing personal Kyle, I just have many othes I work more for and are less confusing with better communication, to answer the pm you sent me....let's keep it out in the open.

I am sorry I thought U were saying Star scheduling was wacky. Who is MCP? Measure consumer perceptive? I thought they were shopmetrics. My confusion.
FYI -- Just tried to access Star Scheduling. A message page popped up when I hit the link that the account has been suspended. Bet the company went out of business.
I think you are right and probably for the reasons discussed. MCP isa good co. and is shopmetrics, I much prefer Sassie though.
Hi Everyone, I know this is a bit late, but MCP is an awesome company, I scheduled for MCP when I was with the scheduling company in mention. Star went out of business late 2011...please do not hold this against MCP. On a side note, I see that cynb likes Sassie better than SM. Sassie's shopper side is a bit better than SM's (it's faster), but the scheduler/editor/MSP/client side of Shop Metrics is WAY better than the other systems combined (I've worked in every major system and some custom ones).

MCP always includes in their job offers aa message that says if there is a problem with scheduling contact David@mcp and if a problem with payroll I think it is Jess@MCP

Best to read through their entire email. Anyway, on occasion I have emailed or called David about a schedule problem and he will refer you to the scheduler who has your thingy or solve the problem. Good company.
