So I keep getting these calls on my phone from "AWW" which is an outsourced MFI Purple Portal call center in Virginia. Sorry to say that I can barely understand these people and they take great offense when I turn them down on an assignment. They called today for some theater assignment and I said I was booked up and unavailable. She said "you can do it this weekend then". I reiterated the fact that I was booked today, tomorrow its supposed to snow and Sunday I have plans with my family. I got a silence and then a rude "well thanks for taking my call at least" and hung up on.
Even if I wasn't busy I don't think I would have taken the assignment, the last time they called and I bantered with them for a decent fee for a shop they never even assigned it to me and when I asked they acted like I was crazy looking for some job I imagined.
