CORI - I just noticed this

I just noticed that on the assignment page of one ofthe CORI shops (the page where you click for details and it asks you to put it in your cart) that at the bottom it says something like...be sure to review your work. If clarification is needed, we may not ask you for clarification and we may reject the shop without notifying you.

I'd never noticed that before.

That sounds really harsh. I mean who hasn't had clarification needed that was actually the fault of the editor?
In over 600 jobs the only clarifications that have come back were either with receipts (uploading the wrong one to the job or a blurry photo) and employees with the same name on the big box hardware jobs. There's a spot at the bottom of the home page showing the receipts uploaded so those can be checked and if there is an error it's easy enough to be proactive and e-mail the scheduler. For the names they have recommended numbering them and adding an explanation and description to distinguish between the two.

Believe me, this is not an attempt to agree with that disclaimer because frankly I find it to be a bunch of bullsh--. The also claim to have issues with getting their e-mails through to shoppers that use virtually every e-mail provider, but they can post late notices on the shopper message area of the website. I suggested they also utilize that for report clarifications and my recommendation fell on deaf ears.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

And, why would they want to go through re-assigning the shop when it may take a couple of e-mails to resolve the issue? Doesn't sound very cost effective. Of course, ya get what ya pay for and maybe the reports they're getting are so bad it would take too much effort to have the shopper to fix it.
You may have a point. When there has been an issue I've been contacted, but my reports involve minimal issues. For one that is just totally ass backwards it would probably be easier and quicker to post it again and let another shopper pick it up.

I've completed several shops for CORI over the years and have never had an issue. I haven't completed many for them since they lost the pizza client a while back.

I've only received ratings of 5 and I've completed enough shops that my average shows a '5' also.

I don't recall having a lot of need for clarification with them, but the policy sounded pretty harsh to me too.
Yes. 5 is the highest you can get.

I only stated that because I didn't want others to think that my question came from a disgruntled shopper. I'm okay with CORI and in good standing. I had simply never noticed the harsh language on that page before.
I don't like playing the waiting game for their jobs to be worth doing, but I am pretty pleased with how quickly they paid

That is why I suggested they use the shopper messages portion of their website in addition to e-mails for any clarification requests. It seems silly to use it for things such as a late notice and nothing else.

Joytron, it was clear that you were totally gruntledsmiling smiley I am too, but it doesn't mean that caveat is not a bunch of BS, LOL!

I've completed to date 5 shops with them and so far have received good marks.
The other day I did a retail store for them that was high bonused and required collecting no less than 8 names and descriptions. That was a chore! I knew it would, going into it, but it didn't help when even the cashier had her nametag covered with some papers. Waiting anxiously for the all-clear on that shop lol.
I have only done one shop for this company, and based on what I have been seeing lately and yes, the start low fees, I don't think I will be doing much for them. The list of available shops just do not interest me plus, of course, I have to watch the higher fees on those that interest me. I am disappointed because I wasted time to be qualified for some of their jobs thinking they might be interesting or worth taking.

One thing, though, is that they pay much faster than many ms.
