Satisfaction Services Rated Member - worth it?

I have noticed on the Satisfaction Services website that you can pay an annual rate of $9.99 to be a "rated" member and possibly get more shop opportunites. I have it ingrained in my head to never pay for mystery shopping. Has anyone done this? If so, is it worth it? If you are a rated member, have you seen an increase in the number of shops you are getting?
Thank you!

I been signed up with them for about atear and I haven;t seen anything jobs/shops yet. The site does not look like it has a job board either. I am trying to downsize on sites that aren't offering much. I don't need to have a list of MSC that aren't offering much in the areas I frequent. or a route less than 50 miles round trip.
I've done a couple jobs for these folks and have been invited to review their job board. It's an odd board as the jobs are listed but do not tell you what the assignment is nor how much the compensation is. You check off the little box by the job and submit it and then supposedly the Scheduler will contact you if there is a job.

I checked two for my area and the job is listed as Car Title Evaluation - whatever that is.
Not worth it to be rated IMHO. I have done shops for them but they have lost the three clients I found most interesting.
I seem to be getting assignments without paying. I like them. I think their reports are a little more difficult simply because they want more descriptive writing but they offer constructive feedback which is much appreciated.

I've done a couple grocery shops for them and now I've requested two financial shops from them that I expect to get.

They don't have a job board.
Sun - I did the click and submit to find a couple jobs listed for my area. Scheduler came back and gave me the info and said there was a $5 bonus if I could do by end of August. I emailed back that I could do on Monday/Tuesday as you call one day and visit the second day. A few minutes later I get a return email saying that when she went to schedule it for me it had already been assigned to someone else. She told me if I wanted, when the Sept. shops opened she would assign those two to me and honor the $5 bonus. I think that's pretty decent.
Wow - after all these years, they have a job board?

No - paying to be a rated member is definitely not a good way to spend money.
I do not know if the job board is only seen by someone who has done a few jobs to their satisfaction or if it can be seen by all. I know initially when I signed up they did not have a board and you only got jobs by their invitation.
Same here. They have had a few restaurants in my area over the years and schedulers called to book their shops. It's been a while since I've heard from them, and I figured another shopper got the nod, or their clients stopped their shop programs.

It is a different looking job board. Evidently, they will still rely heavily on phone communication.
When I first signed up with them, it was invitation only. The other day, I was able to log-in and see a list which includes city/state, a two or three word job type and the amount of reimbursement. Not much of a job board, but it exists. I have never paid them anything.

I clicked the box for my city and got a phone call about an hour later. Shop didn't pay much but was extraordinarily easy.

It was also quite funny because it was just checking for two displays in the store and while you didn't flat out introduce yourself you could ask for assistance and reveal yourself at any time if needed.

My son was working in the department that night, so I went straight to revealing myself and he had great fun dramatically leading me to the display.

Before anyone questions it, the first thing I did when the scheduler told me the store name was tell them my son works there and she cleared it with her boss and since all I was doing was a check to see if the video was working on a display was given the go ahead.
They area sure having a hard time on those cheap cheap electronics shops. Getting tired of price going down and more pic requirements added.
I do jobs for them only when bonused and convenient for me. I usually get a phone call. It's not worth it to be a rated member of a company who obviously does not have many Canadian shops. Besides, it's my policy not to pay to get a mystery shop assignment.
