mVentix emails on available jobs

I signed up with their company over six months ago. Every week or so, they send out the email that says "mVentix jobs available, sign up now!" Only once, out of the many emails they've sent, have I seen jobs available in my area. I called and asked if my shopper staus was ok and the person I spoke with said it was fine. I asked why I keep getting emails when there are no jobs available and she said that perhaps someone else is taking the jobs before me. But I click on the emails the moment they appear in my inbox and the jobs are always gone.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Sincerely,
H.A.R.D. at work

The jobs go very fast. If there is even a slight delay you can miss out. Some weeks they may have a couple dozen posted in my area and the next it might just be one or two. That's when they can be gone within a minute or two.

Sometimes shoppers are checking the job board every day without waiting for the comanies to send out an e-mail. In the case of you checking the job board the minute you receive the e-mail, another shopper in your area may have checked the job board 5 minutes BEFORE the e-mail went out. For example, let's say jobs are posted at 8:00 AM. The scheduler waits until 10:00 AM to send the e-mail to be sure the jobs are posted and ready. If a shopper checks the job board between 8 and 10, after the jobs are posted but before the e-mail goes out, they will easily beat you to the job.
You just described me in a nutshell!

I check the mVentix board 2-3 times a day when I have a feeling they're about to release shops - usually on Tuesdays/Wednesays. I try to beat the email since I live in a very competitive market and would probably lose out if I waited.

The shops go very, very quickly because they pay well, on time and are super easy to execute and report.

Yes try not to take it personally. The schedulers really have no idea who you are and are just trying to get the shops scheduled as soon as they can. But it is frustrating.
Can anyone confirm if there are any available mVentix jobs anywhere in Canada right now or in the last week even? In the Toronto area there used to be tons of the printer jobs available and it would take days for every single one to be assigned. Since April, however, I have not seen a single job posted despite checking the job board pretty much every day and immediately logging in after the receiving the available jobs emails.

From reading this board it sounds like the printer jobs are still being posted.. I've contacted support and they say there's nothing wrong with the system or my account but it seems odd for there to all of a sudden be nothing available for months.
I was wondering this same very thing... They are best of the best so, that's why they go so fast.
Although there are none posted at the moment, mVentix printer shops are still being done. I completed 8 last week in Montreal and surrounding areas.

I tried to enter a Toronto postal code and search a 100 miles radius but no shops came up. I'll try to look again if/when I get the next notification.
Just got an email that shops were released. I checked with a Toronto postal code and there are lots of jobs available in Ontario: Timmins, Thunder Bay, Sarnia, Ottawa, Windsor, Welland, Orillia, St-Catherines, Gloucester, Woodstock, and Barrie.

Good luck!
I just looked into applying with mVentix. Am I in the right place, to apply for what they call "Market Intelligence Representative"? Because I don't see anything called "Mystery shopping" or "Auditing", or any of the usual terms for what we do.

Where it says "Describe your marketing experience", what do they mean by "marketing"? Usually I think of something in the advertising, product/service promotion, or similar arenas when I see "marketing". Is this referring to mystery shopping at all? When they ask about "formal training", how "formal" does it have to be? It doesn't seem like our usual on-line training fits that description. I don't want to put in something they would consider irrelevant.

I see most of you are from Canada... does mVentix shop in the states, too?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks MtlShopper, appreciate it! Actually, a couple of weeks after I initially posted my question here I began being able to see the shops again when they are posted each week, including the shops that are posted right now. Still not sure why I couldn't see any shops for months, but oh well.

Stormcloud: Yes, Market Intelligence Representative is what you're looking for. They do shop in the US as well. I can't recall the sign up process as it's been a while so I can't help with that. Hope that helps a little.

I have the same problem with Regal. They have never responded to my inquiry about this.
