Service Intelligence - Site Problems - WWYD?

Hey gang,

I know the other thread is out there, and yes, I'm starting a new one. tongue sticking out smiley

Since last weekend, the Service Intelligence site at: [shopper.serviceintelligence.com] has not been working, well, it SORT OF has been working, but not really.

I can log in, view my shops, but when I click on the "Enter Job" button, I end up with a Server Error. I've tried Firefox & IE. I've rebooted, I've taken out my router and just plugged directly into my desktop. I've cleared by cache, temp files, history. I've called my provider - N.O.T.H.I.N.G.

I was able to log in and submit just 5 of my 14 jobs on Friday morning. I could access the survey for about 1 hour - and then it went out again, and I'm back to the "FireFox Cannot Connect to the Server".

So right now I'm sitting on 9 reports that need to be submitted by this evening - THREE of these reports are now 3 days old. The report takes 2 minutes to fill out, thankfully.

What to do??? What would y'all do here?

I expect to be paid & reimbursed for these whether or not I submit the report - it's SE's error!

I don't see how there is much you can do other than call them tomorrow. I also don't see how they can penalize anyone for their server error. If you had been able to submit shops who knows if anyone would have been able to even edit them and transmit them to the client. It really is rather shocking that they would be having errors for so long now. We've all see the occasional problem overnight or perhaps for a weekend, but isn't this 8 or 9 days now?

I know Lisa, I don't get why they are still having problems.

I have been sending a message to their "Tech Support" every single time I try and submit a survey. I'm sure they are sick of hearing from me, and I've probably clogged up the que!

I emailed the scheduler Friday night and heard back from her Saturday morning. She said she would go into the office on Saturday and I could call in the survey to her. (Now that is one awesome scheduler!). Unfortunately, I was out during the day with my exit interviews.

Right after I posted that above, I logged into the site and was able to submit 3 of my surveys from Friday. As soon as I tried to click on the "You have 9 jobs remaining due on the next 2 days" link - guess what - the server went kaputz again.

Now I cannot even log into it or refresh the page.

As a last resort, all I can think of is to print out a survey (if I can get to one), make copies and then hand-write the survey results, scan it, turn it into a PDF file and Email the results in.

A contract to work does not mean you need to spend lots of extra time because their systems are on the fritz. Try again as it is convenient. Keep in touch so they know you are trying. But as for printing, hand writing them and emailing, I wouldn't bother. They will just tell you to input them when you can get on line. It is a little different with receipts, which they need to match up to work, but I seriously doubt anyone will sit there and input your report for you no matter how short it is. The problem is theirs, do not make it yours.
I had to submit a survey and it wouldn't work for almost 2 weeks! I finally copied and pasted my answers in an email and the scheduler entered it herself.
Think about it this way. If they e-mail for clarification and our e-mail server is "on the fritz," how many times over how many days do they keep trying?
