Maritz

I am having problems logging on. I was on earlier today. I tried Chrome, IE and Firefox. Anyone else having a problem too?

I deleted all my cookies, cleaned up the space, scanned for viruses and rebooted. I tried to log on with another computer too. I have the message, "You are either not logged in, or you do not have the correct authority to access the page you have requested," at the bottom of the page. And, this is before I typed anything in. I wonder if I got deactivated.
Mystery solved. I did not log out earlier so it locked up my account. I used the 'forgot password' option and that unlocked the account.

Here is the site for their FAQs and training:

Their training covers pretty much everything. Many of the problems folks post about are explained here.
Holy poopoo Maritz just sent out an email for a bonus on shops, I assigned them but it didn't show the bonus. I noticed in the email that is said I could respond to the email OR call. So I emailed them back....and then they EMAILED me back with a response.

Ok, so you know where I am going with this...are they becoming a mondernized MSP? Using email for once?

Just thought I would share. smiling smiley
I just got the same e-mail this morning. I self assigned a few and responded to the e-mail. They responded very quickly, via e-mail, that they had added the bonuses to the shops! This is some great extra work/money that I did not expect for next week!
Too funny! I also got the email from Maritz about the bonused shops this morning. Sent them a response and they replied right away! Wow! Was just remarking to the hubby that this group might be learning about basic technologies when the phone rang. Caller ID said it was Maritz, so I picked it up thinking it was a follow-up to the email exchanges. Wrong. It was another scheduler calling about the same assignments, not knowing that someone else was actually using email to contact shoppers. So much for modernization.

I have had this problem since March and it has not been fixed. The website allows me to change my password and still won't let me login. Customer Service states that there is no problem on their end and tells me to reset my password. Anyone else having the same problem?
I might give Maritz another chance. I haven't shopped for them in well over a year when they had these ridiculous bank shops where you had to get piles of papers and scan them, and things went really bad from there.
They still have scads of those bank shops, Carol, month in and month out.

I've made a lot of money doing those shops. Minor nuisance uploading all the images but $100 is $100. Some of those shops I was only in the bank for 5 minutes.

Not EACH, LOL. $100 for the route of 9 shops. Plus $165 in bonus money to cover the trip.

LOL, yeah, if I see any $100 ones, I'm GOING for them.......
I love those bank shops. I did 10 of them and each took less than 10 minutes. My highest bonus for one bank was $30 on top of the $12.50. I have grown a thick skin doing them and can keep a straight face when they knew I was there for the last 2 months with the same scenarios. But hey, the less people liking them, the more chance of a bonus for me.

I did my first two bank shops for them yesterday for $12.50 each. The phone call, the mail checking, the visit were not that long but then I had to do all those scans! Ended up making about $6 an hour. Does the scanning ever get easier???
Take pictures with your phone whenever possible rather than scanning. It saves a LOT of time. The only time I scan anymore is when I get a ridiculous receipt that is long as my arm for two items, or when it wasn't feasible to take a picture for some other reason.

Here's a hint to eliminate two of the scans/pics on those document-gathering expeditions to banks for Maritz. Gang the booklet with the business card on top of it, and submit the graphic in both the booklet and business card spots. Gang both of the brochures side-by-side together, and submit that graphic in both of the spots for the brochures.

Eliminating two of these scans/pics may seem insignificant, but not if you are doing multiple assignments in one day. The time savings adds up. I haven't had an editor come back at me for this shortcut yet.

Great tip, thanks! I'll try that next time. I've done a ton of those shops, I had to assign Maritz a drawer instead of a folder for their shop docs.

Shopgal,

Thanks for the tip, as I complete numerous jobs each month for Maritz. Here's one from me: On my scanner, I never preview, which eliminates a time consuming function. In addition, for the combo assignments, I scan either the visit or mail when it arrives, therefore breaking that need into 2 time periods which reduces the tedium for me.
Love the bank shops..............

I couldn't have more succinctly stated Nameste's comment. I'll simply add that Maritz is, in my opinion, the epitome of business.
A drawer isn't big enough. I use a large handle shopping bag. I love doing the banks.
