Spies In Disguise - Amusement Park "deposit"?

I am looking at taking one of their amusement park shops but I was leery of the "deposit" I have to put down for the tickets? It seems like a red flag to me - has anyone done one like this with them?

That's normal for them. They are a valid company.

They have been burned in the past by sending shoppers tickets and having the shoppers disappear or send back unusable reports, so the deposit is understandable IMHO.
So if I am reading this correctly... I will pay $45 OOP (after refund) for the tickets. Then anything we spend for food over $40? No actual shop fee for the write up that I see. (Each ticket costs about $45 with military discount if we were to go alone - so I understand that is a great deal to get 4 tickets for price of 1). Am I reading it right though? You are doing the write up for free in return for discounted tickets and food? You will actually be paying to do the shop?

You will receive 4 tickets in advance for $165 deposit. (unused tickets can be saved and used at a later time), $120 deposit refunded at completion of shop. Value of 1 day tickets for 2 children & 2 adults: $280. Eat at a XXXX restaurant on our list, write a report and be reimbursed $10 per person, up to $40.

I work with them and there are no issues with their payments. Once I had to pay in advance for one of their shops over $400 but once you send the report, they will take care of the payment right away. Good company to work for.
