Marketforce Fast Food shops

When I log into Jobslinger I see mystery shops for local fast food shops in my area. Sometimes I wouldn't mind doing one when out and about.

I log into my account and there are none listed, I go to outside my area and put in another neearby city and still nothing. I know I've taken all the certifications available.

Anyone else have this issue?

I did contact them once and nothing was answered. I tried again tonight as new fast food shops just came through, thought I'd ask you all here too.

I know MarketForce is not high paying, but sometimes a free lunch when I'm out and about working is nice.

What certifications are you referencing? I'm not aware of any certifications required by Market Force. If you are not seeing any fast food shops, not only in your area but in other areas as well, it's a good bet that for some reason you are not eligible for them. You say you contacted Market Force once but nothing was answered. Contacting MF is the right thing to do. We could probably speculate, but only the company can tell you why you are blocked from their fast food shops. MF does block certain shoppers from particular shops for a variety of reasons.
Thanks, I was a little confused. Market force has a certifications page and it says there are none available for me right now. I have not been working for them for too long. Maybe that is the reason.
MF does have a certification page but I don't know anybody who has ever taken any kind of certification for them.

I don't think the length of time you have been working for them is the reason you are blocked from the fast foods. The fast food shops are usually immediately available to new shoppers in all locations - unless the shopper provided some information when completing the profile that makes the shopper ineligible for the fast foods. Things that might make a shopper ineligible for the MF fast food shops:

- The shopper was employed by a fast food company within the last 5 years
- A relative, friend, roommate was employed by a fast food company within the last 5 years
- The shopper has dietary restrictions
- Shopper is a vegetarian - the MF fast foods require that certain items be ordered - vegetarian options are not on the list at most

There are a number of other reasons a shopper might be blocked from the shops. Only MF could tell you why you are blocked. I would suggest you ask again, but MF is very secretive about how and why they make their decisions so they may or may not tell you.
If you are waiting until you see them on Jobslinger there is also a good chance they are simply gone by the time you check the website. Jobslinger has one good use that I know of, it gives you an overview of some of the companies who have work in your area and can help you target companies to register with when you are new. Otherwise, many of their listings are too out of date.

I seem to remember having to do a certification before I could accept certain FF shops with arches.

It's not a certificatiion. That FF quiz comes up quarterly and if you hit one thing wrong (usually from clicking too fast), you are block from the FF for the quarter. The questions are the same, but in different order - it's about cash, DT, eating alone, timing, etc.

I don't even look at Jobslinger any more. 99% of the jobs I try to get through them are long gone by the time I get there. It was useful when I first started shopping to find out who to sign up with that had jobs in my area. Now I go to the source.

Welcome to the forum, dipaul. We try to help each other, but, because of the ICAs we sign with each MSC, we do not reveal the clients of MSCs. Many of us believe that naming the clients of MSCs violates our ICAs. Our forum's posting guidelines, listed below, also state that we may not reveal client names. Please use the "edit" button below your post and edit your post to remove the names of the 3 clients you listed.
Well, I got it figured out... Yes, a family member worked for a FF company a year ago. The strange thing is it was not even a FF company they cover! So, I of course answered truthfully when asked on my information. I did finally get a response back from Market Force and they said it doesn't matter what FF company they work for, if any family member or friend worked for any FF company in the past two years this makes me ineligable for their FF shops.

Wow, this seems a little stringent!

I just check out Jobslinger on occasion, I was expanding the number of companies I work with. It is difficult to figure out sometimes which companies actually have jobs in my area, so a search on the job sites helps out. I live in a "remote" but not remote area where we have lots of major stores, but the area is not considered populated enough to cover. So, I will see the same box store covered in a larger city 2 hours away from me, but not in my area.
Yes, if any family member worked for one of their clients or a competing fast food, a shopper is ineligible. I'm glad you were honest about your family membr's past work. I suspect there are multiple reasons they do this. I have noticed that I have difficulty objectively reviewing the work of call center employees. I supervised a call center once - TEN years ago! - and I still find it difficult not to want to give them the benefit of the doubt - which, of course, is what the MSC doesn't want so I stay away from reviewing call centers. (Just a comment: I think working as a call enter attendant for a state agency may be the suckiest job there is. I felt fortunate to supervise them rather than having to do their job.)
I worked in FF 40 years ago in high school, hope they won't hold that against me.

Although it wouldn't break my heart all that much to be blacklisted from FF shops. I really don't need all those french fries....

I would not call it a certification. Its more of an eligibility page. If you fail any of the questions you immediately become in-eligible that round.
I think they say ANY fast food company because they feaqr that if you worked for a competitor that you won't be objective in your report. BS in my mind, but some people they feel can;t be objective if they work or have worked for a competitor.
