> Oh crap a business card at Best Buy???
I used the contact link on the shop log, and fully explained the situation to the scheduler, including that I ended up making a $1.19 purchase, and that I wasn't sure how else I could have handled it, since there were no business cards, and none of the brochures had a location address on them. Here is the reply I received:
"We'll reimburse for the $1.19 this time.
"In the future, there are other creative ways you can handle this such as taking a photo of the address on the front door and uploading it or handwriting the address on a brochure and taking a photo and uploading it, both of which have been done by other shoppers.
Thanks for your efforts!"
Which I think is very nice of them. I replied to say thanks! But getting a photo of the address on the front door wouldn't have been very covert, as it had crossed my mind but that is why I didn't go with that one. I hadn't known that we could just hand-write the location's address on the brochure and have it accepted -- it seems other shops with other companies hadn't allowed this, so I didn't think it would be acceptable.
We'll see if any more of these come up in my area, and if I get them. Now that I know this, I would be happy to take as many as come along. I'm just disappointed I didn't get the other two in my area that I did apply for when I got this one!
I can't imagine there are business cards available at Wal-Mart, either.
Oh, and as an aside, the example business card in the guidelines is from a Best Buy. Wonder where in the world they got that?!
