Maritz shop listing complete for area???

When does Maritz get the listing for yellow shops complete on their site? I am having a hard time getting any routes together worth the trip and they do not have all the yellows listed yet. I started with them towards the end of last quarter and was wondering if it was worth it as shops would get listed and then a week after I did the shop there would be another listed nearby that I could have combined. I figured it was just someone dropped it or something and as I had joined at the end of a cycle I would give it another chance. Now I am noticing they listed a bunch, but did not list all the shops and I would like to make routes worth going to!

Not only that but some are night, some are counting, etc... Beginning to rethink these shops.

They posted a bunch of yellow shops today, about 70 within 50 miles of me. I see only the ones I can do. I don't see the ones on which I would be out of rotation. Maybe that's what happening with you. Maybe you're out of rotation on some of the ones you think should be there. You're right that they show up onesie twosie as people who had them booked aren't able to do them for some reason or another. They show up on the board again to be picked up by someone else. I don't know if they posted shops nationally today or not. I'm in Texas, and they posted yellow stations here.

All the yellow shops were posted in Florida on the 19th also. I don't do them, so I get to see all of them. Most have been picked up, but there are some remote area ones left on the board.

They released a bunch in my area and I pounced on about 20 to do between now and the first week of June.

Most of the ones in my area are after 8:00 p.m. I'm going to pass on these.

I recently moved to south Texas from central Texas and the majority of the jobs in my area are after 8 pm, I am going to pass. I did a few when I still lived in the Austin area and ended up not getting home until after 10 pm. It is just not worth it to me to do these at night, I guess a lot of other folks feel the same way, because their job board is full of night jobs.
Lengthy audits that start at 8:00 p.m. at night won't work for me. I usually shop in the day time, and pulling an all nighter to work a route of these shops would throw off my sleep pattern for days. Maybe these will be attractive to part time shoppers who have full time night jobs and can do these on their nights off. I can see that happening, but I don't see day time shoppers picking these up in any numbers. If a shopper is out at night anyway, such as on an evening dining shop, I can see they might pick up one of these on the way home. Looking at it from the viewpoint of planning a day's shopping, 8:00 p.m. is too late even for the last shop.

I've done a lot of these particular audits as day time jobs and I'm sorry to see so much of it switch to late at night. I understand they need these at night because that's what the client wants. I'm sure all of these will be picked up by someone willing and happy to do them, and I regret that can't be me.

How long do these usually take to do? With or without counting the cards?

I just signed up with Maritz and see a ton of them available in my area as well. I am looking for night and weekend shops, but I can't be on my feet for very long at one time.
If they are your first audits with the company expect to be there 45 minutes to an hour...plus counting cards. I have done many, many, many audits for them and still am on site for a minimal 20 minutes for these...not counting cards. I would think counting cards is going to add another 15-20 minutes for you.
How long does it take for them to actually assign the shops. I have had ten in my "basket" for over a week that still say unscheduled.
Just call them up and ask for the shops. If they are your first, they will probably start you out with 1 or 2 until they know you got the hang of them. Sometimes they never assign shops that are requested until you call.
Thank you, I will do just that. It is a bit difficult to build a route when shops sit for over a week. =]

Thanks - for this as well as answering my question. I'm contemplating doing my first ones as well, and don't want to get in over my head.
Hmm, well they still have yet to list all the yellows for my area. Unless someone took them, but it would seem strange that they would be taken and not others just down the road. Last term when I started Maritz was calling trying to get them in - so I figured there was not a regular in the area doing them!
I think it's a certain gas station that has yellow decor.

Their logo, marketing theme, etc. is very yellow. I hadn't done any of them yet, but am eyeing the ones in my area.
