Gapbuster qualifier tests

I started taking the Gapbuster tests for their FF clients. I truly thought I had answered them correctly, but each time was told one answer was incorrect. I changed it to the next possible correct answer, but it kept returning incorrect.

So, now, I have submitted the tests, but have failed, as I answered one question incorrectly. I also misread one question on another Gapbuster screening test, and because of that, I have been disqualified from that particular client as well. I don't know what to do. Should I contact Gapbuster, explain the situation and plead with them to reset my tests? Should I deactivate and create a new account to start from scratch? I don't know how accommodating MSCs are in these situations. Is it "sorry, you failed," or are they happy to see you take initiative and plug away until you "get it?"

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Maybe they have changed, but based on the posts I've seen about Gapbuster, perhaps the best approach would be to be forget about them and sign up with 100 other companies instead.

I would send them an email under their inquiry tab explaining the situation and asking someone to call you. I am sure they will reset for you and even walk you through the test.

Andrew - in spite of the occasional headaches, they are one of my favourite companies to work with. I never sign up for their $5 meal shops but wait until they call me and offer me a ton at $20 + each.

Good to hear. I had been avoiding them because of the multitude of comments about them failing to pay.

I just signed in and I only see two clients in four states in the US. Are they bigger in other regions?

They seem to be worldwide and it can be hit and miss here in the States. I don't work for them often, but have been paid so far. There was a glitch regarding a closed location early last summer, and it did take a few weeks to get worked out. In the end I was paid the full fee and full bonus of almost $70. I will add a caveat, my jobs were last spring into early summer. Until a few weeks ago I had not seen any others on the board. They called for a bonus shop in my area and that payment is not due until around the 26th of this month.

They have regular shops here monthly in Canada.

Forget about the Inquiry email. They never respond! I did two shop for which I was promised a bonus and never received the bonuses.
I did some FF shops for these guys years ago and was burned out of a highly bonused, far away payment because the cash register printer was out of order. Actually I was burned until I asked for their statutory agent in my home state and threatened small claims action. And in those days they did not have phone number to call.
Over here I have done quite a few shops for them and for quite a while now. Twice has payment been 1 or 2 days late and twice has payment been early.

their tests are crazy long, I think we have a to all trainings for each client ( the client that I sow have many training ) thennnn go to do test, they ask for 100%, of course people will forget 1 or 2 thing after doing multiple training before the test.
So, just wanted to offer an update. I emailed Gapbuster today via the Enquiry button. When I hit submit, it just re-loaded the page. I didn't receive a confirmation that my message was sent and that I would receive a reply in x hours. I don't know if my message was sent. If any shoppers have problems with Gapbuster, I would suggest using an internal email address if you have one.
I registered with Gapbuster some years ago but did not pursue it. I tried to log in the other day and found my account was dropped. I was not surprised at that because of the long time delay in when I first signed up and now. I signed up again and waited for a new password. Much to my surprise and shock, I received an email saying that I did not meet their needs. I was upset at this after I met their needs when I first signed up with them. Now after reading all the negative postings about Gapbuster on the different forums, I am feeling a lot better about not getting accepted by Gapbuster. I am very happy that I am meeting the needs of many other mystery shopping companies that I am actively shopping for. I now don't think I am missing anything at all by being snubbed by Gapbuster.
Well i did failed the certification test for three companies and was devastated i tried to email them and ask them if i am able to retake the test. After spamming them with tonnes of emails they finally agreed and reset for me the tests. I passed the test in the end. So in my opinion you should spam them until they respond. Works for me. Cheers
