Just got an email from them because NSS gave them my info. Ever heard of them?

I had never heard of them. Maybe someone else will reply to you.

I went to their website and sent an e-mail to see if they have shops in Alberta.
I received the same letter referencing a referral from NSS, I requested, and received, company information from Katy Gravatt. She was forthcoming, "My company is fairly new and I have not yet registered with MSPA, though I do plan on doing so soon. I have been working in this industry for 11 years now with National Shopping Service. I started SCS about a year ago to cater to smaller clients who have fewer locations and/or lower shop frequency. I have found that there are many small companies that have a hard time finding MS companies that will take smaller accounts, so that's what my company is designed to do."

I appreciated Katy being receptive to my due diligence prior to registering with SCS. She proactively provided references and has been nothing but polite and professional. I look forward to completing an assignment for "SCS" next week $15/$60. She indicated she would be happy to share her contact information:

I've done shops with Katy for three companies. Katy is a delight to work with, very responsive and the reports are all very straightforward. Payment is through PayPal.

I'm waiting to hear about what shops are available in September.
