Market Force can see what I'm looking at??

I was viewing the information for a local shop and a scheduler called me to ask me if I wanted it. He even said that he saw that I was viewing it and offered me a bonus to do it.

I assumed that. On this forum you can always see who is on it.
On another forum I participate in, you can always see the names of the people reading that particular thread.

So not a far reach to think the MSC can see when we are logged in and what we are looking at.
Are you sure about that?winking smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

No, not the ones who are not signed in. Lol
But I can't look at a jobboard without signing in. So I assume they can see who is signed in looking at job boards.

Of course they can see what you're looking at.

You're logged in and clicking specific links to jobs. They have the ability to record that into your profile for schedulers to have more "leads".

I'm pretty sure you are watching this forum just about 24 hours a day waiting for some poor unsuspecting newby to come in here and ask for the name of a MSC who shops a particular company. I swear it looks like you and a couple of others are holding a contest to see who gets to jump them first.

Never anything positive from you FR? You need to go toggle yourself...

At this time, members can elect not to have their name posted when online. Doesn't mean that Big Brother doesn't know; just as with MSP boards.

Absolutely, they can see what you are doing....

If you are in the account for a certain job, they can go in, and you are effectively "locked out" of your report, until they are done with your report.

This happened to me a few times, an editor was grabbing my report/receipt and if you try to go in the account to sign off the CPI or input the receipt, you can't touch your report until the editor/scheduler is done. smiling smiley

Where do you see this information? I never have, here. On another forum I frequent, they used to have the list of those logged on across the bottom of the page... but now it's visible by clicking a link. But I've never seen that here?

The bottom of the main page shows who is logged on.

Years ago I had an assignment with a new report. As I was filling it out, for whatever reason, I was on the phone with someone at the company (don't remember who called whom or it may have been through email..don't recall) and they told me they were watching me enter the report...so yes, they most definitely can see what you're doing on the site. I vaguely remember that it was a new project and they were sitting there waiting anxiously for the report to come in....Now if they are watching ME...that would be really ugly and spooky. Make sure your cameras are off.

(only kidding about the camera part)

Aha! So it does. Thanks ~ I hadn't even noticed it before. smiling smiley

I do not see anything. Someone give me a link to the url = home page. My homepage here is plain and simple and just shows the forums. If y'all don't mind, that is. smiling smiley
Are you scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page?

Members here do have the ability to opt out of being visible when online. The option to change your visibility is in the control panel, located here: [www.mysteryshopforum.com]

As for MFI, I wish they would call me and offer me bonuses when I'm looking at a particular shop. There have been several times when I was on the fence about a particular shop, and a couple of extra bucks would have made all the difference.
This is what I see when I scroll to the bottom of the page. Hmmm...

Go to the main page at [www.mysteryshopforum.com] . At the bottom of that page, there should be a box with a heading of "Online Users". It is immediately above the section titled "Go To Forum:".
