Private Eyes

Received a long e-mail this AM from this company, listing links to mystery shopping companies who
have shops available in my state.

I didn't sign up with "Private Eyes". I THINK (LOL!) I signed in using SASSIE and also Prophet this
weekend with some new MSC's...could that be where they picked up my e-mail? I haven't clicked
on any of the links (which seem to be scheduler's e-mail addresses?) -- I'm too paranoid about
viruses and stuff.

But if any one says they have dealt with these people before, I can always cut & paste the e-mail
address without clicking on it, right?

I guess I'm just asking...anybody heard of them?

If I recall right, Private Eyes resolved an issue of non payment of some work I did for an MSC they bought out. It was a while back but they belong to the good guys in my memory.

I think you might not be recalling right. I thought Private Eyes was an independent scheduling group only. I've never heard anything about Private Eyes buying out any other company.

Did they help you collect from Freeman before Freeman completely stopped paying shoppers? Briefly, Private Eyes acted as scheduler for Freeman. Private Eyes was apparently assisting some shoppers who were owed money by Freeman to collect........but ultimately, when Freeman failed many shoppers scheduled by Private Eyes for Freeman shops were left unpaid. I remember PE continuing to schedule more shops when it seemed clear no payment was forthcoming. Based on that bitter memory, while I don't hold PE responsible for Freeman's nonpayment, they don't necessarily belong to the good guys in my memory.

I have done assignments for Private Eyes, and they are an independent mystery shopping company. I think they specialize in video.

They are not a mystery shopping company and they do not specialize in video. Private Eyes is an independent scheduling company.
