Upcoming Website Maintenance

Please be aware that there will be two maintenance sessions on the Shopper Website in the next few days.

You may not be able to access the Shopper website and/or submit any reports, get your paperwork, and upload receipts during the down time. If you are on the website, you may be kicked off it so please be sure to time the entering of your reports carefully so they do not coincide with these maintenance windows.

The first will take place Sunday January 19th at 11pm EST through Monday morning around 4am EST.

The second one will occur Tuesday January 21st, 11pm EST through Wednesday at 4am EST.

I'm not exactly sure what is going on with MF. I got the following e-mail from them this afternoon (Saturday) and the maintenance has not even started yet.

"We wanted to alert you that we have had to cancel your upcoming ABC assignment, due to scheduling issues in our system. Please do not perform the assignment as it no longer appears on your list. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for all you do as a shopper and as always, let us know if you need further assistance."

I do appreciate them contacting me in advance to let me know. I have heard stories on the forum of shops "disappearing" from one's shop log without any explanation. I'm disappointed because it was a bonused shop in an area where I had other shops scheduled. :-(

I can't logon at all through IE. Sunday at 1:53 ET. My computer is messed up. Maybe I should try another browser.
I have had difficulties every other day all week. Today I just input a report with no problems at all. When having difficulties, it does help to change browsers. It helps to exit and log back in.
Aargh. The message about this got moved off of their front page, and so I forgot about the maintenance until I was entering shop data and got kicked out. I wonder whether they will extend the shop entry deadlines given that their site is down. I'm gonna assume not, which means I have a very late night ahead of me.
I was able to enter my shop data but not submit it. I'm going to try to wake up again around 3am Central (when the maintenance is supposed to be over) and see if I can submit then.

I'm in the same boat; I was able to get the data entered but couldn't submit on the final screen. It's 4:23 AM their time, and the site is still not allowing data submission. I probably should have just rescheduled the shop, because waiting up for hours to submit one relatively low-paying shop on time is a little absurd.

I know things often happen when upgrading computer systems, but I really do wish they had been able to meet their own deadline in the same way that so many of us work hard to meet theirs. Frustrating.

Edit: it's 5:06 AM their time and the site is still down. sad smiley

I was finally able to actually submit my report as of a few minutes ago.

Sidenote: How many other MSC portals have this much maintenance done on them? Steri isn't like this is it? I've never heard of a company using Sassie having this many problems, either (though most probably do not do the volume of Market Force).
I'm surprised that their website doesn't crash. Didn't MF say somewhere that 40,000 reports are submitted every minute? Something outrageous like that. Not sure, so don't be yellin' at me, k? smiling smiley
I never have any problems with them. Could be because I havent
taken a shop from them in years.

One day they might stop calling me to take shops.
