Never thought I'd say this, but I miss CORI sad smiley

There are 4 jobs in my area, whereas there used to be at least 30. I miss the hardware stores (I refuse to deal with Maritz anymore), ice cream, chicken restaurants, teenage clothes and shoe stores. Yeah, the starting pay sucked, but some of those bonuses were great.

Bummer sad smiley

I did a lot of work for them and loved the fast pay days. I guess those days are gone. sad smiley
I miss these too! I counted on those $30 shops to boost my side income. Save for the nightmare of completing a report on a page full of bad programming errors, they were easy shops.
I thought I'd miss Cori, but I don't. I'm perfectly happy with the way this worked out.

I would just like to be able to do the gas station loyalty shops again, and if they can pay $10 per store to someone that gets a route of a whole bunch of them, why can't they do that for the remaining stores that don't fit into those routes?

I made a decent chunk of change off of these shops, even though I took a fair number of them at $3 (I did 5 in about an hour on one run, and a couple of them were bonused to $5.50 I think).
I was thinking the same thing today. Miss them!

I still see the loyalty shops.

I'm going to be the black sheep of the group and say I love the new company just because of the gas station ID audits. I'm getting paid $40 a shop for a total of 5 shops. I dread the day when I can't do them anymore due to getting old. winking smiley
I really miss the chicken shops. They were so easy, the food was decent and, if you did the shop on a Saturday -Buy 1, get 1 free coupons could be used. sad smiley Maybe they'll come back later in the year, along with the Wawa shops. One can hope.
they never had "too much" in my area...except gas stations and I don't do them......I would grab the hardware stores when the pay was good....now I don't even check their site....
Since you brought them up I just logged in and checked them. About 30 jobs on the board here but none of them seem to pay anything. It's all reimbursement only.

Floating around like a feather hoping the wind will set me down somewhere awesome.
I see all of their usual clients on the board with the exception of the DIY store. Interestingly, the fees of the gas shops have reverted back to the starting fee, like the home furnishing store did last weekend.
I just noticed the diy store I loved shopping so much moved to a different company. Are there usually reasons behind them switching to a different ms company?

I was only with them for a year, but I just realized I haven't seen the ice cream shops for a long time. I miss those! Thankfully my most favorite everything shops are still there. smiling smiley
I way prefer doing the shops with the new company. I rarely ever took the jobs with CORI because they rarely ever paid enough but now I snatch them up right away.
Are you seeing a bonus yet?

jp must be in one of those areas where people took them off the board too cheaply.

They are doing the same thing that CORI did with pay outs continue to rise as the month goes on. I don't let a lot of emails from them but I did 4 shops for them tonight with a pay out of $40 each. In my opinion, the schedulers are friendlier too.

This month and last, my income from CoRi (or whatever) has gone way down. A shopper took most of my usual gas stations at $4 (or a little higher for a route) and they just keep rescheduling. Many still haven't been done. If and when they get reposted, they'll most likely come up at $4. I'm hoping next month will be a bit better. It's been snowing here endlessly, so I'm glad I didn't get many anyway. Whoever took them at the starting rate, or as a route rate took a bunch and I'm figuring it has to be a newbie because that never happens around here. I actually called and spoke to a scheduler to find out why the due dates kept changing when they were posted as "backup." He told me someone took them and had rescheduled several times and they weren't going to let them reschedule again. Waiting to see what happens. I'll be glad to pick up the flakes, if and when the rate goes up. Otherwise, there's always next month.

I miss the chicken shops too. Does anyone know if a new MSC picked up the client?
I haven't seen the bonuses yet... I think they are probably being picked up fairly quickly. I went to do one Exxon location and the staff told me that the 'other' mystery shopper said that he would now be the only one doing them as they were with a new company now. Apparently he did not know that I was also registered with the other company....
Wait, hold on. I don't think the clucky and treat shops are gone. They just haven't come back from the holidays yet. I know the treat shops usually come back in the spring or early summer like they have the past couple of years. The clucky company may be revising their program, who knows. Have faith, y'all =).
I thought I read that someone had asked - and was told the chicken shop ended. I can only hope. I loved to do those shops on Saturdays, 2 for the price of 1, plus they took expired coupons too.
Really miss CORI, too. I did a lot of shops for them. There are dozens and dozens of gas station shops on my board but all for backup. It's hard to believe they filled them all as routes. And they've been like that for a long time. It really confuses me. There are actually only a few shops available within a 100 mile radius of me...all the BBB shops. I really hope the ice cream shops come back in the spring. If not, I might not have any jobs to do with them. sad smiley
So I just called them and asked a few questions. I was told that the ice cream shops will be returning shortly, so that's a good thing. I also asked if they were thinking about exiting mystery shopping. I was told that they were not, that they still have over 40 clients. He said they've lost a few clients recently but that doesn't mean they're exiting MS. I'm sure they couldn't say if they actually are, but hopefully that's the truth.

I still am just amazed that all the GS shops within a 100 mile radius have been filled as routes. I REALLY wonder what shoppers are getting paid for those shops.
Snuffycuts99 to see what they are paying the shoppers for the GS just click on details. It will show you what it has been assigned at. I see in my area mostly $10. In NY area I saw mostly $15.
Thinking they might be further hurting themselves by packaging the only major petroleum client they still have in my area into routes. Making these routes means their shopper pool will dry up - every gas station within 30 miles of me (probably 50 shops) was assigned last month at $15 fee and $5 reimbursement; this month they were all assigned for $8 + $5.

Since about 10 of these locations are within two miles of my house, I regularly shopped them before they were being done as routes.

Shopping since 1995; full-time since 2009. Blogging about shopping on www.myfrugalmiser.com.
thanks for the tip...guess i thought that might not reflect a negotiated fee for a route. if that is the case, looks like pretty much all around me went for $10.
