Never thought I'd say this, but I miss CORI sad smiley

....or, the location must be very close. It would cost me about $4 in gas to get to the real close one here. sad smiley

The gas stations in my area whose fees usually go up at the first of the month; haven't increased at all. Still at 4.00. I don't remember that happening before.
Been driving by a lot of gas stations these days without stoppin in. Buying my gas at Costco and saving some time writing reports. I have to assume they will go up soon. Just about all are still on the board here.

Someone on another thread said they spoke with a scheduler at Steri/CORI & was told they will not be increasing the fees on the G/S...
OK, then...let us know how that works out...

Yeah, that was me. He told me that last month and I actually thought about emailing him today and asking if they were trying to commit suicide. He has a pretty good sense of humor so maybe next week if they don't go up.
If they came back with something I could do, I'd be happy to work with them again. But I don't miss them. I like the current situation on the blue stations and the DIY account.

Actually they're red or blue, depending. I don't know what Super Stores are, you lost me there. Rucker, where are you? I'm in the Fort Worth area. Red or blue might be something else where you are????

I'm in South Carolina and this is just an example of why I hate that we have to speak in code. There's another company that does compliance shops for a gas station that is a brand of a big super store. When you said "blue" that's what I thought you meant.
Ticks me off to STILL be getting emails from the new company, in messages that end with...

Dear Cori,
I just wanted to write and let you know that I’m doing all right without you. After five years of getting together every week, it’s hard to believe that we’ve gone a whole month without seeing each other. I thought I would miss you more, but really what I feel is more like nostalgia, just a sentimental fondness for what was, but no longer is.
And maybe it never really was. We were never exclusive – we both knew that. You had others, so did I. But still we were always there for each other when we needed it most. It was a good run while it lasted.
But be honest... you’ve changed, and I’m not holding that against you. Everything changes. I’ve changed too. I’m more confident now. More adventurous. It’s a big world out there, and it’s been enriching to be able to explore it, even if it has been without you.
And I’m not saying we can’t ever get together again. But if we do, please don’t read anything into it. Just old friends… you know, doing each other a favor.
Anyways, I’ve got boards to check and I’m sure you’ve got jobs to fill. Please give my best to our old friends at Findlay if you still see them at all.
Moving On,

I share your thought on Maritz, and after my last phone call with them, and being informed they have over 100,000 shoppers it was plain to see we are just another number to them and easily replaced in their view, ... so easy they offered me an extremly generous incentive to meet a deadline.... guess they can get one of the 100,000 to fly in on the concord and finish it .
Well, I still do some CORI, mainly to keep a weekly check coming in. Since the blue stations have moved over, i have been doing alot of them for the new MSC. I hate getting check twice a month instead of a nice and steady direct deposit, however, I do not miss getting emails saying I did not send a receipt, when I know I did. I have yet to get one email from the new company saying something was missing. And all the attachments go through on the first pass. That is a nice change.
Weird thing is, I have never ever ever seen ANY gas stations with CORI... not ever. We have all (or at least most) of the brands/stations hinted at over all the threads (by colors and whatnot, so I think we do, anyway!) but I've never seen a single one on CORI. I've always thought that odd!

I have never seen one here either. Never. The ones around me are shopped by maritz and market force. I would guess it's where you live that is causing you not to see any..some other msc has them.
The teenage clothing store is back. I did one last week. Still not seeing the Massachusetts Chicken store. Gas stations are still at $5. Ice Cream shops are still paying their paltry fee.
Those ice cream shops used to get really quite reasonable, and sometimes downright generous, before. I miss that!

And I wondered if it was just a matter of where I'm located. It just sounded like I was the only one on the whole forum here who didn't get gas shops from CORI! Good to know I'm not alone. smiling smiley

Both of my local ice cream shops finally got taken at like $4.50 or $5. :/

Sad! I loved when the far-flung, out in the woods, where the ice cream shop is one of the few signs of civilization, shops would get up to $25-$40 each. Dad & I would make a little road trip, because you could string together three to five along a scenic route and have a fun day. And maybe pick up a shop in a nearby "big city" too.

There was one where I Google-Earthed it, and there was the red ice cream place sign in the middle of a forest. smiling smiley

Holy Crapola!!!! I can't believe I just did that.

I blame the fact that the subject line doesn't show up with each post anymore. I forgot exactly which thread I was in and what the title of it was! smiling smiley

I missed them for a while and still have fond memories of high paying jobs, but....they are starting to annoy me now. I think I got four emails today for the same gas stations. They're paying a whopping $8! And then other emails for URGENT shops paying $12! They're not quite on the same level as another MSC with their constant car dealership emails...but it's getting a bit ridiculous. I can't get over the radical shift from their past methodologies. I mean shops just sit there and the shop fees BARELY go up.
The treat shops are sitting here at 5.50 It's just not possible to do them for that fee. Oh well..I'll move on. smiling smiley

Motivation increases when we assume large responsibilities with a short deadline.
I got the craziest emails today. They offered a bonus on specific shops self-assigned by five pm tomorrow. The scheduler said to contact him after it was done so he could add the bonus manually. There were only three problems with the email. He used the no reply address, didn't include his email or phone number and didn't include the amount of the bonus. It all left me shaking my head.

I replied to the NO REPLY email and, of course, it didn't go through. I noticed the same things missing in the email and wanted to know just how much the extra bonus would be if I accepted one. Sending numerous emails must be their new way of trying to get those low paying shops scheduled. You think they'd get the message that they would all disappear real quickly if they raised the fees to an attractive number. Sadly, some are going in my area at the low rate.

So, did anyone find out what the BIG extra bonus amount is? Please tell..I'm betting an extra $2.00.
