I use to love working for DSG. But when they outsourced to India or Phillipines, I refuse to work for them.
I posted a message on their Facebook page, saying. I use to love shopping for your company, but due to you outsourcing your schedulers, who can't speak English. And don't understand the questions we have as shopppers. That I can no longer work for your company.
I received an email back from their president , with a supervisor schedulers email and phone number. And encouraged me to contact. I said, no thank you. Not until you bring the jobs back to the US.
There are MANY of us who would love to be schedulers.
It's important to have that shopper/scheduler relationship. I will admit I am picky, I try to only work with one or two schedulers in a MSC. Because then they KNOW my work ethic, and my personal situation. BUT when they have a last minute shop they need done, and they call me and I say I can help, I do follow through.
