jleetw1, you said: "Then you tell me you do not have the receipts. Not sure about other shoppers but I save all reports . Why do I have it on the report that I saved but you do not?"
I think the problem is that with Maritz gas station shops, you have to submit the receipts as part of the shop report and also have to submit them a second time to get reimbursed. You also have to submit the invoice. I suspect they have the report receipt but don't have the second copy they needed with the invoice.
My routine is this: I do the report, enter the receipts and photos, and submit the report. Then I immediately submit the invoice for that particular shop and re-upload the receipt for the reimbursement. Then I enter the next shop. That way I know I have invoiced each shop because I do it immediately.
Except since I mostly only do banks for them, I nearly always will forget the second receipt upload if I do a singleton gas station shop. But I do the invoice. When payday rolls around and they don't find the receipt with the invoice, I get a message that the payment is on hold waiting for the receipt. I submit the receipt. If I do it quick enough, I'll get paid on time. If I drag my feet, it will fall into the next round.
The one time I forgot to do the invoice at all I realized the job was unpaid a month or so later and called them. I think they put it in for me after I called. Or maybe they reopened it so I could submit my own invoice properly. It was one of my first jobs for them and a long time ago.
I think you may have confused their request for the reimbursement receipt with a request for the report receipt that you knew you had submitted. Or it's possible you forgot to submit each job's invoice.
Don't hate them. Just find out what they need and give it to them. The problem arises from the fact that "I need the receipt" can mean two different things, even though it's the same receipt.
And if you don't like this system, then don't work for them, because this is how they do things and they're not going to change just for you. Lots of MSC's have their own unique way of doing things; either put up with it or shop for someone else. That's all you can do.
Time to build a bigger bridge.
