msc's with shops in and around Lubbock, TX

I have been a mystery shopper for 5 years, but wasn't really active until this last September. My problem is I am signed up with over 50 companies, but very few of them have shops in and around Lubbock, TX. I am tired of going through the sign up, only to find out that if they have shops in Texas, they are only in Houston, San Antonio, DFW, or Austin. All of these are at least 300 miles from me. Does anyone know of companies that have shops in the Texas panhandle? If so, would you be willing to share them? I am partially handicapped and can't stand for long periods or walk long distances, so I have not done any audits. I have done grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, and some retail (although it has to be a small store).

If anyone out there can help me find more companies with shops in my area I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

Hi, Peggy, welcome to the forum. I would encourage you to sign up with more companies and to check their job boards frequently. I'm signed up with about 160. I see a lot of shops in West Texas. There is a lot of competition and many of the shops are grabbed as soon as they hit the job board, so a lot of shoppers never see them if they aren't checking regularly. If you wait to receive an e-mail, it may well be too late. Good luck and happy shopping!
Hi Peggy,

I am a scheduler for Mercantile Systems and I can tell you that we have dining and bar shops available in Lubbock every month! To sign up please go to sassieshop.com/2mercsurveys

@ krattner ~ That was nice of you to post a response to the OP. And props to you for stating that you are a scheduler and which MSC you work for. There is another thread that accuses people of hiding behind their fake online names. Kudos.

P.S. I already work for your company but I don't think you are my scheduler. :-)

Thanks for your help everyone. I keep signing up with companies, and finding that if they have shops in Texas they are only in Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Austin, or Houston. I am up to over 60 companies now, and of the 10+ I have added since my first post, I have been unable to find ones that are in the Lubbock area. I am still going through the list, signing up for new companies. (I am only in the B's, so I have a long way to go).

Krattner, thanks for the info. I am signed up with your company, and I see those shops occasionally. So far, I have not been able to accept one due to other obligations, but hopefully I will soon.

Have you tried using the free version of Jobslinger to look for companies that have shops in your area? You need to keep using it over time, because shop offers change constantly.

Have you ever estimated the percentage of jobs they cover?

No, I haven't. I know it's nowhere close to 100%. However, it's a useful way for someone who's new to pick up some companies that have shops in the area.
Peggy,

Customer Impact has shops in that area. I actually have one outside of Lubbock (about 40 miles) that I need completed this month. It is a dining shop in a new location.

Here is the map of all the locations I schedule for Customer Impact.
