How to get "in" with Bestmark when you don't do car shops?

I'm a New Yorker which means I don't drive. I've been signed up with Bestmark for a while but they do not seem to have any shops aside from shops relating to cars: service for cars I don't own, or trying to get me to test drive cars. I know they have other shops, but obviously I have to do the lower-ranking shops first... but it seems all they have is cars. Do you guys have any experience with them, doing shops other than those related to cars?

I don't own their car types, so I haven't done much with them, but my first shop with them was a web inquiry car shop.
I've done many shops for them, but in the past year I've done few. That's because most of their jobs are for service to makes of car I don't own or new-car dealers I've shopped within a year. Bestmark often has phone-only shops for new cars or service. They pay little, but are quick and easy. In my area, they do offer shops at good restaurants with fair reimbursement levels. They also have some retail shos, but not many. Bestmark's schedulers are good and the company pays promptly twice a month.

No fee, no shop.
In my area it's new car shops ($14), car service shops (don't drive the makes that qualify) or a national chain store (will not do again). Occasionally they have a highly bonused new car shop that I'll pick up, otherwise, they seldom have any shops of interest for me.
Around here its mostly cars and the national chain as well but also casino shops (which I can't pick up since my husband works there). They do pay like clockwork though

I've done a SE regional restaurant chain and drug store (many comments about this chain shop on the forum) shops for them in the last four months. The restaurant ones pop up every single month and I've tried four different locations to date. I have yet to try the car dealerships, though. They are not really "my thing."

I've emailed BM regarding some problems with two shops and have been pleasantly surprised with the results. Maybe you can reach out by email or even a phone call and tell them what you are interested in.

Their casino shops can be a dud. No budget for gambling. You have to gamble for a certain amount of time... In theory, you can actually lose money on this shop. It's ridiculous to expect a shopper to do a casino shop without a gambling reimbursement budget or allow the shopper to stop gambling once they have lost a certain amount.
@Linda - I went for the casino shop and was bummed that the money offered didn't cover the required gambling. Not even close.
Hrm. Do you know if they cover any casinos in Atlantic City or Connecticut? I sometimes take my mother to casinos (and in the past have been able to get a restaurant shop located in a casino from another company). I never see them available, so I assume they don't offer them to new shoppers.

You can always go to lunch at Michael Scott's favorite restaurant, though in my experience, they don't cover the reasonable cost of lunch with their reimbursement.

Hoju, where I live Michael Scott's favorite restaurant is covered by someone else.

Really, I thought Bestmark had all of both chains in that parent company.

I did but I'm not seeing anything- which means either they don't have any or someone's already taken them or they're not showing them to newer shoppers.
HI , you might want to put in another zip code....they do have shops for 2 hours from the port.....think....beach/ocean .... I no longer live up there, but have at times checked out my old zip codes and have noticed plentiful shops besides car shops. OC...they might not be your cup of tea.
