How many total MSCs are you signed up with?

Hotels and resorts are in high demand by most shoppers. I doubt anyone will want to hand over their resources. You need to sign up with as many companies as possible and you will find which MSCs offer hotels. And if you are a brand new shopper, you will probably need to get some basic shops under your belt first.

Check out the Official List of MSCs at the bottom of this page. In order to find rare and polular shops you will need to sign up with a LOT more companies and then prove yourself as a shopper before you will even see overnight hotel shops on the job boards.

If you are a new shopper, get lots of experience before trying a hotel shop.

The list here contains roughly 200 give or take. If you are not finding many shops with those 40 it is time to add 60 more.

I think it's been stated many times here that there are different fits for each shopper and MSC. What works for some may not work for others.

Coyle is neither mean nor unprofessional. They are demanding for sure, and at times they can even be disorganized. Of my more than 500 shops for them, I would say that the majority of the experiences have been wonderful opportunities to experience things I might not have been able to afford on my own. There has never been any blood shed...
I ditto what Steve said.. Though I think Newyorkdan meant no offense to Coyle, just that the style, complexity and demands is not well suited to a first time hotel shopper (thus it would be mean to suggest they start with them).
I work with Coyle and do hotel shops for them.
What I was trying to say is that a new hotel shopper should never start doing hotel shops for Coyle.
I would suggest they start with other hotel MSC's before they do one for Coyle.
MickeyB was right.
freeman group was the best when they were around.

Since Freeman's pay schedule of somewhere between 90 days & never fell nowhere near your definition of acceptable, I'm going to assume that was an attempt at sarcasm.
fraisiere,
If you are having problems finding hotel shops in the DC area, you need to sign up with a whole lot more MSCs. I have done 8 hotel shops in the area in the past month, none of them for Coyle.
