How does Maritz pay?

I think I saw it somewhere, but I cannot find it in their FAQ's.

Does Maritz pay by check, paypal, or what, exactly?

I found the part where they say you have to submit an invoice (and how to do it), and that they pay around the 15th and 30th....but not specifically HOW they pay.

I don't see any mention in my profile for my "PayPal e-mail address", so I'm thinking they mail a check.

True?

They actually have a dozen shops at 12.50 + 5 reimbursement + 2 reimbursement...roughly $19.

I found the 15 page report I printed to be off-putting! I figure after I do a few, and do them right,
it won't be necessary to keep printing out 15 pages of ... stuff.

Two are right in my tiny, tiny town! So I figure I'll practice on them, 4 blocks away; if I screw it
up, I can do it over again and still be within the time frame! They have about 30 similar shops
between here and my daughter's house. It'll be nice to visit her and have the gas all paid for!

If I can get the shop and report down to less than one hour total, I figure it'll be a good one to
add to my repertoire.

I think Maritz is a collection station for gathering information.
It tells you to sign up, collects your information, and sends you out a check, don't cash it. Then tells
you to do the shops and return the balance of the money to them, Which is about 1000.00, which is out of your pocket.
It's a scam. Beware of Robert Collier. Beware if you get a priority mail, it has a cashiers check made out to you, and the banks name. Urban Trust Bank. They are trying to catch these people.
REMEMBER NEVER TAKE A CHECK MADE OUT TO YOU ASKING YOU TO DO THE SHOPS AND THEN SEND THE BALANCE OF THE MONEY BACK TO THEM. IT'S SCAM.

To Got Smart and all new shoppers: Maritz is a legitimate company. Someone may have worked a scam using their name, but Maritz was not involved. Maritz is a large research company contracting with several major clients. I shop several of their programs and have been with them for years.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.

That is a scam, but that check did not really come from Maritz. Maritz is a legitimate company that has been in business for years. Unfortunately, the scam artists have found stealing the name of a real company adds legitimacy to their scam and increases the chances a victim will be fooled.

I have worked with them for some time now. I have always gotten the checks in the mail. I do get a few bonuses now. I tend to travel farther now to get higher paying shops. I like to drive. so I find myself lucky.

(I know, I actually was shocked when I heard on the news about the delivery of the final telegram to ever be sent. Sad!)

I love Maritz! My very first shop was one of the mystery/reveal gas shops. I got to the station, did the gas thing, and discovered I'd left my camera at home. I ran home and got it finished the shop and had a good laugh with the attendant. When I sent in the report I explained the time gap between the two parts of the shop. I was emailed a smiley face and told not to worry about it.
I do wish they'd go with something besides paperchecks, but... I still love working for them.

I work this company. They are great. And they pay like clock work. Wish they were higher paying, but they are Awesome. Pay by check, and its by snail mail.

Maritz pays by check---and VERY promptly. I have been mystery shopping for 17 years now--with MANY companies---Maritz is the fastest payer of all! So far---snail mail has not failed to deliver..........
