does maritz pay for closed locations?

I didn't ask them beforehand. It's a gas station audit. Completely out of business and no other company has moved in. I took the two pics required and am certainly hoping they pay the full amount.

I have never had that situation but so long as you took the required pictures I am confident they will.
I have been paid for locations that refused audits, so I don't see why they wouldn't pay you for a closed location.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
I have only had this happen with gas stations, so I don't know for sure that it applies to banks. I would assume so, though.
Take a photograph of the location showing it is closed and they will pay. If it is a gas station and it is open but branded a different client (yes, this has actually happened), treat it like a closed location. Take one photo of the front of the store/address and one of gas island/pump/whatever shows the different brand. They will pay the fee and bonus, no reimbursement since you won't buy anything.
I had a closed bank on my list one day and I didn't even have a way to submit a picture. I just reported it as closed and was paid in full. Once I said I couldn't do the shop because it was closed, all the questions disappeared where I might have tried to put in a picture.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I had a location that was still in business, but had closed for the day a few hours early and was paid in full.
Yes, they definitely do. I've visited locations that were out of business, closed for remodeling, closed early for the day, etc., and they are always paid.
