MarketForce shoppers in the South--what happened?

I was waiting for the new round of shops to come out so I could pick up a treat for myself at a certain client that exists only in some Southern states (TX, MS, LA for sure; may be others but if so I don't know about them). FF, chicken, red logo, if you're a Southern MF shopper hopefully you know who I'm talking about. (Since I just realized that describes like four different chicken places.)

There's nothing in the shops. This is kind of distressing, because normally there are THREE in my immediate vicinity I can pick up if I'm fast enough and I love their food. The pay is low but the shop is simple and the food tasty, so it's worth it if I'm out erranding or doing the one in walking distance.

Instead, I see three new clients, one of whom is FF and the other two retail. Did I get booted from doing this favorite shop, do they usually come out later in the month and I just haven't paid enough attention to know that, or is the client gone? I did one at the beginning of April, this is a new thing.

I don't see them either here right now. I'm in Texas.

I've noticed a few different shops disappeared for April (the end of the month shops I mean) and it's all May now.
I'm in Houston. My board was just cleared and replaced with a new round of the two usual suspects along with a bunch of new retail shops and a FF burger shop I remember from last summer for a place I've never eaten.

Glad to know I didn't get booted, at least. I may have to do something today I haven't done in a loooooooooong time . . . . pay for it myself. I'm having a craving.
The other day, zero shops. I freaked (well, I didn't but...)

Anyway, a few hours later, a ton of shops appeared in my area.

Phew! smiling smiley
I haven't had those in my area for some time now. But if I travel about 100 miles from my area they are available. Sure wish I could have those back.
I'll drive if I'm compensated enough. I'll drive 80+miles. I have no problem doing that.
Go have a nap, LisaSTL, lmaoooooooooooooooo

It's you..not me.

Sorry folks..a private joke here. tongue sticking out smiley
They just posted them. AND Market Force (MF, appropriate initials) dropped the lunch shop fee to $4. They're doing the same thing they did with the Quintet of Dudes shops. They dropped the lunch shop fee by $1. As if it takes less time to do lunch shop vs a dinner shop. The requirements are the same. Do NOT let the MF get away with this. Don't take the reduced fee lunch shops. Let them sit there and make them bonus them.
Ahh, good to know. The schedulers often call me for a specific location that's close to me but often doesn't get filled, so if they try to get me to do it for the lower fee I'll ask for higher. I do the same on their other chicken shop, (the one with the $16 reimbursement). I won't do those for the going rate--even for the one in walking distance. You expect me to accept $4 when a gallon of gas is $3.50 and it's 16 miles round-trip from the one you like me to do? Not on your nelly.

Gonna go see what I can pick up! Thanks for the tip!

Edit: MADDENING. All of them are for AFTER I start my new job, for which I don't yet have hours. Well . . . . maybe I'll get lucky and they'll sit.

I have no problem getting a $4 fee for a shop with a $16 reimbursement. Hubby goes and orders just wings or strips and a drink. I get a 10-piece combo and the two rolls and there is still enough left over to add 5 or 6 wings and veggie stix.

NOTE: I'm not on the forum every day. If someone comments on my post, I might not reply right away. I've been a shopper since 1991. I've never done any work for a MS company in any other capacity.

This is for the chicken place that only has $8 reimbursement. It only covers one meal.

Actually, I think niteowl was responding to the post directly above his, in which the poster said "I do the same on their other chicken shop, (the one with the $16 reimbursement). I won't do those for the going rate--even for the one in walking distance."

You are correct that one originally mentioned is a chicken shop with an $8 reimbursement. The second one, as quoted above, is a $16 reimbursement - I'm able to feed two on that $16 reimbursement. I think niteowl was making the point that, while $4 is not a big fee, there is a big difference between an $8 reimbursement and a $16 reimbursement. The $8 reimbursement is not so worth it to me, but the $16 reimbursement is.
Yeah, but there's a second chicken shop, different company. I won't do it unbonused.
