MSC payment dates

What does 6 or 4 Mondays mean? I thought their payment schedule was the end of the month following the shop not 30 or 45 days after the actual shop date.

I just checked an email posting from this week. ACL's payment terms do not appear to have changed unless they have been paying more often and I was unaware. The date listed for payment for a shop completed this month was February 22.

ACL is now paying 6 Mondays out from the shop, not 4.

Looking at the shops I have scheduled for ACL, it looks like they are paying the same way they always have, the 4th Monday of the month following the month in which the work was performed. Example: shops completed January 1-31 will pay on Monday, February 22. To my knowledge, at least in my area, ACL has never paid 4 Mondays after completion of a shop but rather they have always one time per month, the 4th Monday of the following month. So if you perform your shop the first day of the month, payment is about 50 days after the shop; if you perform your shop the last day of the month, payment is about 20-25 days after the shop.
Plus when you go to accept an ACL job it states in the job description when it will be paid so you can decide if that is too long to wait. I have always found them to pay on time (of course if the post office delays mail . . .)
For Regal I recently got my payment on a shop I completed the end of December. It was less than 30 days.
Hotel charges were reversed a few days after checkout.

I have compiled this list of MSC and their payment dates as well as form of payment. I am checking your posts every couple of months with updates or new information and then editing this thread to reflect the new information. Please note that some of these dates and payment forms are as reported by other shoppers and not from the MSC themselves, although a few are.

Just want to give a SHOUT OUT to InTouch/Insight for their SUPER FAST payment! I did 8 audits for them between Feb 22 thru March 4th....payment in my bank account TODAY!!! Thank you InTouch/Insight!!!!
Market Force DD was supposed to be on 03-10-2016 and here it is March 12th and its shadow is not in my bank. They have not been late the past several months. They were on the dot or even a day early. Just wondered if others have received their DD.
Rising, My DD from Market Force was in my account on the 10th....hope it's just a minor glitch on MF's end and that you will see your deposit soon! I remember being pleasantly surprised to see it on the 10th, because their "March Payment" notice did give a later date.....hoping good things for you soon!

My DD was also made on the 10th. Are Canadian DDs made on a different day than US? Hope you get yours soon.
There's a message on the MF site (dated March 9), stating that payments will be from the 15th to the 20th, citing the ICA, although my March payment showed up on the 10th.
According to my Market Force DD, March 10th was the date that it should be in my bank and they were usually prompt. The CFI check was supposedly mailed out on March 3rd. I wouldn't be surprised if they arrive at the same time, slow mail being 10 days or more. I remember receiving a check with three days postage mark, after their stated check date. I am not worried but they are substantial amount and Market Force website had been on and off. They had been unusually picky lately. Wonder if it's a sign of possible deactivation. winking smiley
I just read this message just like kimbesa posted: "Shopper Payments in March

Shoppers will receive their Direct Deposits by March 15th, per the terms of your Independent Contractor Agreement. Shoppers will receive their mailed checks up to two weeks after the direct deposits are sent to our bank.

The payment details will be reflected on the Shopper Website on the day the payments are sent to our bank. It may take several days after that for the deposit to show up in your bank account. Some banks will reflect the same date we show on the Shopper Website, but later posting banks will show other dates.

If you have not received your Direct Deposit by the 20th, please let us know at that time as there is nothing we can do prior to that date.

As a reminder, your Independent Contractor Agreement and the Shopper Support Center states: “All compensation will be paid in arrears via check or direct deposit around the 15th to 20th of each calendar month, which covers completed assignments received in our office during the previous month.”

Thank you for being a valued Market Force Shopper. "

So, why did they post the date of my DD as March 10, 2016 and then add the above 3 days after? They could have easily blamed my bank again for the delay, as some posters had before.

Wouldn't March 10 be the date they processed the DD since they would have no way of knowing when your bank posts deposits? I work for the so rarely that I can't remember when payments hit my account.

I have had this experience before and my bank had checked this before. And I have posted this before. My conclusion is the money was not in the bank at the date they supposedly processed it because it is DD afterall. All my DD are in my account on the stated date whether it is the date of processing or not. Always, with the exception of MFI. And MFI had been very good before. But occasionally falls into my bank's fault style. I don't remember ever having that problem when I was working in the States.

I remember when I could not have a DD with CFI and they claimed I entered the wrong data. For months I kept going to the bank and they wrote them a letter. It was always my fault or my bank's. One of the staff took pity and explained they could not process DD for Canadians yet so I still receive it by mail which takes at least 10 days.

MFI reverted to CAN$ and that's how they were able to do DD but I guess it depends on the amount. But this has been overdiscussed a number of times. I don't mind if they pay later but be honest about it.
Has anyone had any issues with TrendSource? I've only been shopping with them 2-3 months, but deposits have always been prompt and frequent (often I'd get a deposit on a Friday, then another one the following Monday for any shops approved over the weekend). But this time, I've got 3 shops that they list as paid on 3/17, yet there's no deposit into my account. I figured I'd give it a few days in case they processed, but didn't submit or something like that. But I'm starting to get concerned.
I wish the MSC would not send emails about a payment just sent. I received the notice on March 11th. Naturally by the 22nd, I was wondering what happened to it. I was told that it was actually mailed March 15th. If they did not advise about the payment, I would not even have wondered.
TS pay dates are the 5th and 20th specifically and not what you are describing. It will get to your bank about 2-3 days later. I doubt your recent jobs were marked as paid - more likely they were approved for payment.
Actually, what she is describing does happen. TS pay dates ARE the 5th and the 20th, but I was paid on the 17th for two shops done the 9th and the 15th. It did take 3 days to show up in my bank. I was paid yesterday for a shop done Sunday. Can't figure out why, but it happened and I thought it was great.

Yeah, that wasn't what I was referring to. The poster wrote as if they had an expectation of being paid the Friday or Monday following completion of jobs. And your payment may have been processed a day or 2 early but so what ? Paydays are the 5th and 20th. If a miracle happens, that's just what it is, a miracle. There's been plenty of times the 20th fell on a weekend and payments weren't processed until the following business day. Not to mention jobs I completed and verified before the 20th were not paid on the 20th. You shouldn't expect anything else to happen except to paid on the dates they say they will.
I was getting a little concerned about the TS payment this month, too. My payment on the TS website showed Thursday 3/17 but were not posted to my bank until Monday 3/21. In the past a Thursday date of payment on the website meant credited to the account on Friday. I've also had payments consistently credited before the 5th and before the 20th. It was a little strange this month.

I never said that I expect to be paid a couple days after I complete a shop. And I understand that they say their pay days are the 5th and the 20th. I was just explaining what I have actually experienced with this company.

For example, I had some shops listed as paid on 3/3, and the deposit was in my account ON 3/3. Then, for some reason, I was paid again on 3/7 for a shop that I had completed on 3/3.

Same thing happened in Feb also... I was paid 2/20, then on 2/23 I received another payment for shops that I had completed on 2/20 and 2/21. Each time, the money was actually in my account on the date listed in the Paid column.

This is the first time that the deposit had not hit my account on the date that they had posted as the "Paid" date. It's happened with other companies, and some specifically state that is the day they processed the payment, not the date you should expect to receive it. So I understand that concept, but like I said, I had not experienced it with Trendsource. Each business, MS or not, handles their payment process differently so you have to know how that business works. That's why I asked here rather than shooting off an email to them right away. I was concerned because it was different than what I've experienced with them, but because I've only been with them a few months, I don't have enough experience with them to determine what is "typical."

And I was finally paid on 3/22 for the shops listed as paid on 3/17.
I did my first shop for ACL on 2/11 so I was expecting a check this week. Am I missing something? Was there an invoice due or anything else. My address is up to date and I don't see any notice of anything I need to do on the site. Have you all been paid for February shops by ACL? Just wondering and getting skeptical about the late payments lately. I'll give them a call or email on Monday if I don't get the check tomorrow.

Does anybody know what VeriTES pay cycle is? This is one that has regular work for me, although very low paid for the time. I would like to have an idea when to expect the cheque in the mail.

@MsJudi I have not received my ACL check either. They are in GA and I am in NW FL, so it would be unusual for the mail to take this long. I also am going to email them tomorrow as well if it is not in the mail. They do have a new email for missing checks: shopperchecks@a-closer-look.com.
Bless you! I had compiled my own list but everything was lost in a fire. You are a Godsend. I did not want to have to go through the research all over again.
Generally I like Ridgeway. Their shops are pretty easy, they mostly do mattress and furniture shops in my area. You have no money out of pocket. You are just observing the staff. I have had two issues. I have been shorted $5.00 -$15.00 on two separate times, and had to go do the research to get paid, but they did it quickly without hassle. I am researching my paypal versus my shops pay right now to get paid from being shorted a second time. The other issue is that I had a flake report, (my first and only ever) when I couldn't do some out of town shops after a bad car accident one of my kids was in.. I explained the situation to the scheduler who promised to remove the flake report if I went back in a few days and did the shops. There were three. I did it in the time frame they wanted but months later the flake report still hadn't been removed. Otherwise they are easy to deal with, their narratives are really easy. Unlikely you will ever make more than $30.00 at a time. usually their shops are around $15.00 but they are pretty easy. They generally pay around the 15th of the next month from when you do the shop.
