Have absolutely no idea about Ireland. For that you would probably do best googling a shopper forum in Ireland and/or check to see if Jobslinger.com handles shops in your area of Ireland and/or check the MSPA Europe companies at [www.mspa-eu.org] While some of the companies we see here in the US and Canada also have shops in Europe, my guess is that companies more local to you probably shop national as well as international clients.

You should be getting 50 to 55 cents per mile for travel to shops. The US Government allows you to take that deduction. If you get a 1099 and pay taxes for shopping, the uncle (Uncle Sam) will give you back money.

Caution! if you get a 1099 and do not report your income the uncle will get you!
If you get less than $599.99 from any one source it is not reported but if you are audited and are getting pay pal payments the investigator may want to know what those pay pal deposits are on your checking account. (They are not stupid, they know what pay pal deposits are-payments for e-bay sales and Mystery shops..both are taxable.

You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want ..Zig Zigler
I have had a bad experience with Bare Associates. The shop was listed as $50.00 for an oil change and a $10.00 bonus.There were not any restrictions as to when the shop needed to be completed. I completed the shop as scheduled and was confirmed with the bonus. When I received payment for the shop there was not the additional $10.00 bonus .When I questioned the deduction they stated, " You did the shop early in the month, the bonus was if you completed at the end of the month ".This left a bad taste in my mouth and they lost a reliable shopper.
wow Iam very new at this secret shopping(one shop9 and this list is awesome,mahalo (thank you)
Looking for a Mystery Shopping company. Try www.SinclairCustomerMetrics.com they do not charge any type of fees to shop with them.

SCMGina
Geez, Gina, do you work for them? They are famous for posting in the incorrect places here.

Neither do any of the other companies that most of us shop for.
Yes, she does work for them! Here is her post on the newbie board:

* Gina
* New Member
* Posts:3

www.SinclairCustomerMetrics.com registration is FREE, and I have shops in the NC state for dealerships in: Burlington, Raleigh, Gastonia, and several other areas. Shop pay is $60
Sherry finally figured it out and stopped the constant redundant Sinclair posts in the wrong place looking for free advertising ...... and apologized, telling us that she "hadn't read anything on the forum before she started posting" and she was "just trying to fill her shops." And now we've got Gina - another Sinclair employee who either doesn't read or just doesn't care. Maybe we can get Sherry to send an e-mail to Gina and all the other Sinclair employees to explain. Or are they so desperate for free advertising that they are just going to take turns? Sinclair, if you want to advertise, post on the Job Board free or PAY FOR ADVERTISING.
I wouldt even bother with Corporate Reaserch International (CRI). 3 and 4 dollar jobs. Best Mark does great auto dealerships. 45.00 to 50.00 with a free oil change or tire rotation etc..

One can only hope this was a joke. Otherwise, you have got to be kidding - how sexist, if not a joke.
Need to know most reliable mystery shops. Please tell me of at least five of these. Thanks sooo much.

Keep reading, and you will find what you seek. Your competition, like me, is unlikely to state it directly. Read here and you will find. :-)
Hi Jacob!
Love your forum and just discovered your list with links. I have some tips for you that may increase your SEO and alexa ranking. The first company on your list is resulting in a referral to a search engine. It must have gone under.

Not everyone cares this much about this stuff as you. Give it a rest, Infonut.
If I have done some work for a Sassie company do I need to fill one out for each job or will they share my information for doing a god job?
You need to treat each company as a stand alone. Where independent schedulers are involved, they may develop a knowledge of you and your work which will help, but even then you must be registered with each company with whom you work--otherwise they can't pay you. Shoppers seem to be much more gracious about sharing information about good and bad companies than the companies themselves are about shoppers.
