I wanted to add to my concern about this company. When I went into change my profile, I could see my routing number and bank account number where my direct deposit goes to (when they do pay). Granted I had to login with username and password. But in this day and age most MSCs and other online banking type sites have the common courtesy to just show the last four digits and the rest with asterisks.
Had not seen anything from them in ages and I get an email to update my info. I made sure it was their legitimate login via going outside the email and then logging in. It said my ssn was not verified, yet I could see from my job log all my ancient shops, so they verified my ssn long, long time ago. So I updated some stuff, although hesitated at the photo ID requirements (I get nervous about ID theft). I was thinking of doing some of the electronic shops so I took that quiz, passed 100%. But still even the EDIT button on profile would not let me click somewhere to update ssn.
Turns out it appears the only way to get your ssn verified (again) is to pass the ff shop test. Must be desperate to get those done to hold ssn verification hostage. Out of curiosity and to get my ssn verified, I took the ff test. Kept missing the same question, without revealing the answer...I would say, I swear the guidelines say 3 napkins...took it twice changed my answer.
I am glad I didn't get 100% since the last poster I read said they blew up their email box with the ff shop requests. Oh yeah, now my memory is coming back to me, this is the company that pays very low and very, very, very slow. After reading this forum, I am so glad that it was not my imagination. Okay, back to my tried and true MSCs and shops I love to do. Note to self: Always, always remember to check the forums before taking any new jobs or jobs from MSCs I haven't dealt with in awhile. Also make notes in spreadsheet as to why or why not.
