I used to enjoy dealing with most of the schedulers for BWW. But some of the current schedulers seem nuts to me! About a week ago, a scheduler reached out to me with a bonus offer. I said it was too low and countered with what I felt was acceptable. She said that would be ok and that she would be scheduling me for it. I waited and waited but it never got scheduled. I emailed her and asked, and she responded that another shopper had been assigned the shop. Thanks for letting me know, lol.

And then, today, a different scheduler emailed about a bonused shop. The initial email did not say the amount of the bonus, so I asked. $1...that was the bonus, lol. I responded that I would need a higher bonus to do the shop. She emailed back and said that $5 is all she will give. She points out that is double the normal fee and that I have the reimbursement on top of that. The way it was written was just a bit snippy. So, I was in that town and needed dinner anyway, so I emailed her back and said that would work and to assign me tonight. I waited for over two hours for a response but got nothing. By that time, my other jobs in town were done and it was after 5:00. I emailed her back and said forget about it.

It seems to me that they're offering me bonuses but then holding out before assigning me the shop, hoping that another shopper will take the job for less. Whatever the case, it's poor communication and I miss the past schedulers. I also miss the old bonuses. A $1 bonus?!?! I remember doing these shops not long ago with a $50 bonus!

I only do the phone order/takeout scenarios because the write-up is a breeze.

They must not be too worried about the BWW in my area being shopped regularly, because I leave the dine-in untouched, and it sits there for months on the boards before they'll tack on a good enough bonus that I'll take it. No shoppers here for this MSC.

Never done the phone order/takeout scenario. Might have to try it sometime.

the company has a high turnover rate with schedulers. In
fact I think in a 1 year period the turnover is 100%.

It sounds like schedulers on are a "hunt." The "hunt" for cheaper shoppers. You ask for $5 bonus, they found someone that would do it for $2 bonus.

I used to do them all the time but the whole msp other shops included have been screwed up as of late. They used to be one of my go to msps now they are an afterthought. Good news op with the high turnover for their schedulers the new batch should be here any day.

I ate there yesterday just for fun, when I asked how hot the Ghost Pepper Sauce was, I was told "ridiculous." I decided to pass on that. It did sound good however.

Same thing happened with me. They wait and see if someone else will do it at the price on the website then assign it last minute with the bonus, after you agreed on bonus two days before.

Is that a good "wow" or a bad "wow?" They have a caramel bbq one that sounds gross. I still love the spicy garlic best.

Wow as in mouth is on fire spicy. Much more heat than the Blazin'. My wife got the salted caramel bbq and I thought it was okay... if you like sweet stuff. My favorite is the Thai curry.
