Dreaded Pizza Shops

I took the summer off and I'm ready to get back in the swing of things.

I have a question about the infamous shops that seem to be offered by 4 or 5 companies right now.

Anyone had problems with the shops being rejected from companies other than NSS? There are several that are highly bonused and would be worth it even if I throw out the pizza but I don't want to attempt it if other companies are rejecting too.

I've had two rejected, and honestly I just sucked it up, didn't bother getting clarification because I knew why, but they called about two days after on each, and told me that my report was reinstated and was now back to "In-Process".

The problem with mine was that the store I was assigning myself to, they are very customer-friendly. So if you call in placing a one-topping order, and there's a current coupon code out for a better deal for a two-topping, they will ring it up as a two-topping, even if it's made as a one-topping. Make sense?

I included that in my additional comments.

To be totally honest, I *think* it went to "Needs Clarification" before getting rejected, and I just didn't check often enough to catch it. I consider myself lucky, (and them awesome) that they then called me and re-instated it.

Thanks - that is one of the companies I was considering taking a shop from so that is very helpful.
If they rang it up 'wrong' to give you a better deal, can't the MSC tell from the pictures that you've ordered the right pizza's and pay you provided you gave them an explanation?

Everytime I do multiple shops, the pizza prices vary from one establishment to another. I only do them within a 6 mile radius so I wonder why the prices are not uniform. I would like to order more than one pizza as my kids love it but am afraid to as I don't know how much to put down for 1 pizza. The prices are not separated on the receipt/box label.

They did.

Forgot to answer your question, LOL. I've done them for one other company and have not had a problem. I've never had a problem. Just remember to use your flash, don't let sunlight get on the pizza and for the slice 'n rise, make sure you flip the ends up that you've CUT (with a box cutter).

I see that NSS does not pay a job fee, only reimbursement. Does NSS have a higher rejection rate than other MSC whom are doing the same pizza company?
Spork, it is not worth it for reimbursement alone.

One of the other MSCs regularly bonuses from $25-$40 for that same job, plus reimburses.

If you call NSS, they typically will give you a "bonus". This gives you pay over the pizza. I do at least 10 pizzas a month and do not get any rejected. I use a Samsung point and shoot camera I got from Amazon. I will not do them for less than $10 a pizza plus reimbursement. The last two I did as a double shop (two pizzas at a time) and got $20 a piece. My boyfriend took the leftover pizzas to work and his coworkers devoured them.

Oh I definitely would not do it for reimbursement alone. I just find it amusing that NSS does not pay and only offers 1.00 reimbursement for a delivery tip plus the cost of the pizza. Wow, 25.00-40.00? What a difference!
How about the ones that Second-To-None offers? They appear to be less work than NSS's. Has anyone had any issues with the ones offered by STN?
STN was the one I was talking about.

STN and NSS are the same shops. The form for NSS is actually better as it is less pages.

NSS is reimbursement only. STN pays and bonuses.

For NSS, call them and talk to them. Online will pay some bonuses but the schedulers have authorization to add more if necessary (and to change from delivery to carryout too).
